Eye- nice straw color and slow forming legs Nose- nice baking, spices upfront that flows into a right banana and floral notes with deep caramel flowing throughout. Taste- Cook agave and fruit such as bananas with some barrel oakiness and butter scotch
Muted nose with barrel notes. Very soft palate and finish. Not a lot going on with this one. Not huge on Cazcanes personally. Tasted with AF 2024 Blind Repo. Update: bumping two more points after trying again.
Blind- Medium color, well balanced with a medium finish. Aroma: vanilla, caramel, agave, toffee, nuts Taste: caramel, vanilla, clove, buttery
Malolactic aroma - cheesiness. Cooked agave. A delicious smell honestly The cheese is subtle on the palet. Oak comes through strongly Finish is warm and you can feel the barrel aging. This tequila would be a great party favor - unique attributes while also appealing to the masses
