butter agave pepper caramel some mint
Nice nose of citrus, agave, barrel notes. Some oak. Earthy. On the palate I get orange, oak, barrel spices caramel and a touch of vanilla. Not a bad tequila. Not sure you can find it and it certainly isn’t worth a ton of effort. However, if you run across it, depending on the price, it is worth a look.
Oak, agave, some earth. Bitter barrel notes on top of the agave sweetness is interesting but ultimately holds this Añejo back a bit. It’s good but never breaks the excellent rating levels.
Light aromas on the nose of agave and oak. This is quite soft on entry though it gets a bit bolder from holding and chewing a bit before swallowing. Quite a bit of tip of the tongue buzz and some bite on the end. Thanks Christine (Tequila.Diva) for the sample
Cabresto anejo (from ryan o) Similar to the repo, with a little less agave and more oak, barrel spice, caramel, some orange peel
Cabresto repo (got a sample from Ryan o = thank u ryan!) Cooked Agave, brown sugar, light baking spice, a little heat, some oak Palate is a little soft. Not too complex. but an easy sipper. and I hear the price is right. Tho, I received a sample so I don't know the price.
Barrel heavy nose, subtle palate and alright finish
