Tons of methanol on the palate makes this a very rough pour. Not much agave flavor to speak of or any depth in flavor for that matter.
Mexican 35% abv. version, lote: NJ10857T10, bottled on 06-09-2023, tasted on 10-25-23. Color: light yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light stone fruit sweetness, slightly minty, earthy, light sweet agave sweetness with fibers. Feels natural but subtle. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, light alcohol sensation with acidity dominates, feels thin on palate. Finish is short to medium, sweet aromas dissipate quite quickly, acidity with a hint of sweet cooked agave persists but not too long.
Strong aroma -a very sweet and peppery scent. Strong sweet flavor with a strong pepper bite. Lowest grade of alcohol permited at 35% ABV so full of distillate. Very inexpensive a great bargain. Fabulous for mixing since it has a strong sweet peppery taste. A nice Oro tequila.
Stong flavored well mixed.
Mexico 35% version We were out for a walk after dinner and passed a bar that had this one I hadn't heard of. Light amber in the glass. Aroma minerals, cooked agave and a hint of vanilla (possibly added). Flavor of black pepper and that added vanilla again. Not much finish. Being a mixto is probably what makes the price better.
