Wild honey on the nose. Sweet caramel and vanilla. This smells very sweet It is sweet on the palate too. I get barrel spice and honey. Vanilla and caramel. Very tasty. May be too sweet for some but if you like a sweet tequila, grab this one
Love the nose. Sweet agave, barrel spice, lightly floral. Stone fruit, Very minty on the palate. Sweet agave, barrel spices Very nice mouthfeel
Aroma: cinnamon, apple, vanilla, oak, hint of citrus. Flavor: oak, black pepper, raw agave, minerality, earthy, sweet cream. Finish: somewhat short, oaky, and earthy. Going in I thought this would be a very bourbon forward reposado but it’s retained a lot of the agave character and earthy elements.
First taste reveals a big impact from the wheated barrel, with notes I’m struggling to define. I’ll gonna revisit this ASAP and come back to share full notes.
We all have our profiles and usually wine barrel aged tequila is not in my wheelhouse. This does have a nice nose. It’s very fruity has a light anise nose. The palate is very forward. I do get fruitiness and barrel notes. Anise. Good finish. If you like this type of profile then I think you will enjoy this one.
