Not much agave in the aroma or mouth… I’m getting pads of black pepper and citrus …. Some medicinal and Minerality ….. gets better as it sits … slight caramel flavors comes through with licorice

Like the blanco, it’s an interesting drink. A stretch to call it tequila and you can definitely pick up the fake sugary flavor.

Botella Numero: 6232 Lote Numero: 71 Fetch’s: 08-12-2022 While a very nice gift, it’s first nose out of the bottle definitely spoke of a “medicinal” effect which after I looked up the $350 price tag was surprised; after a bit of air the agave was present from the bottom of the glass; the alcohol (medicine?) still was present in the glass center; floral, cinnamon, hot peppers, brown sugar were all present. Taste: there’s a “velvet softness” that from my readings suggests additives? Not a lot of agave nor the barrel I’m used to tasting in a Joven; cut grass, and hot pepper. The finish definitely has heat while at the same time a smooth side. I’ll come back to this bottle to see what some open time does for it.

Aroma of black pepper and anise... where is the agave. Flavor of anise and medicinal. Not much of a finish.

I genuinely enjoy the flavor, but would never spend that much on a bottle of tequila made that poorly. I much enjoy something with more complexity. this does have a uniqueness about it, where it lacks complexity.

Vanilla, orange, Café au lait (coffee w/ cream), caramel. Smooth approach, mild nose, mild finish. Not much bite or pepper. Fantastic!
