Complicated but satisfying. Aroma full of brick oven and cooked agave mixed with rain water and minerals, rice, green mango and sage. Citrus, fruits, cloves and floral cent aggregated. Palate is agave forward, marzipan, lime, cloves, white pepper, basil and dill weed. Finish is medium spicy with cooked agave mix with sweetness like nutmeg and custard.

Aromas of cooked agave, pepper, citrus, and mint. The flavor is soft while the texture is oily with notes of sweet agave, light vanilla, white pepper, cinnamon, and more mint. The finish is long and spicy, and invites you back for more.

Nose: Ripe, high brix caramelized agave marries with spicy minerals to deliver a big welcoming aroma. There’s abundant light colored tree fruit notes, citrus & oranges, and a floral scent that pops in and out throughout the nosing experience. Flavor: Rich agave forward profile. Trailing slightly behind comes cinnamon, cloves, white pepper and hints of basil and dill weed. Silky and creamy in the mouth, but by no means timid or demure.

Arte NOM 1579. The name says it all. Go look up NOM 1579. This is another wonderful expression of a blanco tequila from Felipe Camarena. This is a smooth sipper with an easy finish. Salud!

Lots and lots of green apple. On the nose and on the body. Knocked a few points off for price. Really soft and oily on the body which I liked. Not a huge fan of the specific moment when it transitions from tasting to the swallow.

Nose of cooked agave, mint and white pepper. Pearls and legs hang on the coated glass for a while. Enters clean, coats thinly. Moderate cooked agave and white pepper flavor. Dry on the palate. Finish is long, dry and peppery.

Quite soft initially and then blooms in the mouth to reveal quite a bit of fullness as in spice and agave flavors along with some custard notes as the finish develops and then fades. Tasted side x side x side with G4 and Pasote from the same distillery.

My first Arte Nom and 1579 didn’t disappoint. I love that flavor. The agave is clearly front and center and I get a little mint. The aroma is a little light and subtle but very appealing. The finish was soft with minimal heat….the finish was the only part that left me wanting a bit (just slightly). Excellent blanco.

ArteNOM 1579 is an affordable high quality sipper from Felipe Camarena. Nose: Soft, rounded nose of roasted agave, white pepper, mint with a light rain water minerality and mild earthiness. Taste: Oily and creamy, yet still soft. The white peppery warm is balanced with the roasted agave and mild earthiness. On the back end, hints basil and cardamom. Finish: Medium to long with agave and a persistent peppery warmth.

On the nose, a combination of citrus zest and freshly cooked agave. A very clean aroma of minerality. Slightly sweet across the palate, very agave forward. The finish is a punch of vegetal agave and alcohol. Very clean and easy to drink, but not particularly noteworthy compared to other quality blanco tequilas.

A lot here that’s reminiscent of G4, but with a touch less bite. I like a little more bite honestly. Still, there is much to enjoy in this one.

Has that magical 1579 taste that can never be duplicated. Delicate and very agave forward, earthy and minerally. You know you’re tasting quality with this gem.

I get some fruity, floral, and herbal notes that compliment the strong cooked agave presence. Like all products from NOM 1579, I find this very easy to drink with a soft, natural sweetness on the palate. This is still a great tequila, but I don’t think it has as much character compared to other blancos from El Pandillo. Compared to the earthiness of Terralta, the crisp fruity notes in Volans, etc, I think this one gets lost in the pile of “above-average” tequilas. That said, it’s still worth a try.

Nose- Agave, bell pepper, mint, and some minerality hanging around. Taste- Cooked agave, honey, floral and herbal at times. Faint cinnamon spice. Mouth feel is full bodied Finish- Long and spicy! Overall this was a fabulous and fascinating tasting. The nose was different from the taste that was different from the finish but the whole thing was amazing!

What an amazing blanco. Clean, crisp, earthy, vegetal/herbal, floral, citrus, agave dominant. No fake vanilla or sweet additives. Really don’t need to say more.

Vanilla notes. initial peppery finish which diminishes on 2nd or 3rd tasting No strong aftertaste Compared to Casamigo Blanco this does not have a thick mouth feel and doesn’t have that over sweet taste.
