Aromas of cooked agave, pepper, citrus, and mint. The flavor is soft while the texture is oily with notes of sweet agave, light vanilla, white pepper, cinnamon, and more mint. The finish is long and spicy, and invites you back for more.

Nose: Ripe, high brix caramelized agave marries with spicy minerals to deliver a big welcoming aroma. There’s abundant light colored tree fruit notes, citrus & oranges, and a floral scent that pops in and out throughout the nosing experience. Flavor: Rich agave forward profile. Trailing slightly behind comes cinnamon, cloves, white pepper and hints of basil and dill weed. Silky and creamy in the mouth, but by no means timid or demure.

Arte NOM 1579. The name says it all. Go look up NOM 1579. This is another wonderful expression of a blanco tequila from Felipe Camarena. This is a smooth sipper with an easy finish. Salud!

Lots and lots of green apple. On the nose and on the body. Knocked a few points off for price. Really soft and oily on the body which I liked. Not a huge fan of the specific moment when it transitions from tasting to the swallow.

Nice sweet cooked agave flavor, spearmint aroma and finish. Oily and earthy. Very enjoyable and distinct.

Nose of cooked agave, mint and white pepper. Pearls and legs hang on the coated glass for a while. Enters clean, coats thinly. Moderate cooked agave and white pepper flavor. Dry on the palate. Finish is long, dry and peppery.

Quite soft initially and then blooms in the mouth to reveal quite a bit of fullness as in spice and agave flavors along with some custard notes as the finish develops and then fades. Tasted side x side x side with G4 and Pasote from the same distillery.

First time sipping a blanco neat (I’m new to tequila so bear with me).... it’s nice! A little pepper on the finish, but it’s clean, and very easy to drink.

Anything coming from this NOM is always outstanding. Balanced cooked agave, citrus, spice and alcohol.

Hard to find in Tucson but worth the $64 cost. Cooked agave, minerals earth and citrus on the nose. Floral, vanilla, lime, apple in the mouth. The finish ends with black pepper, carmel, melon and dried fruits.

Great aroma, great taste, extremely easy to drink. In fact, it’s too easy to drink... there is no finish. It’s extremely soft and goes down like water. I would prefer a bit more bite to remind me I’m drinking a tequila. Similar to Felipe’s other blancos in aroma and flavor... heavy agave and minerals. Clean taste. Very good tequila, but it’s a bit too “refined” for my taste. Great beginner Blanco for anyone who wants something that goes down easy.

It’s good but everything about this is too subtle. Nose has a fine agave presentation and a minty citrus follows. Flavor is good, slightly sweet. The finish is where this lost points for me. I don’t like too much pepper but I need some! There’s basically zero finish. Considering the price this really isn’t a value.

Spice, citrus... like the time I had a match in an orange grove and landed on a cactus. Lote LA0006B

Agave Smokiness in the aroma. Love the agave pineapple flavor. Smooth but long and peppery spicy finish. Almost feels like there is a higher ABV here.

It’s rather difficult choosing a favorite expression of Felipè’s Blanco, but this is definitely the most sexy. The higher concentration of rain water results in pure elegance truly melts in your mouth. You can practically buy a case of this for price of 1 bottle of the heavily disguised and manipulated “ultra premium” brands. I consider this to be one of the absolute finest Tequilas in production.

This ArteNom 1579 is by far the best Blanco that I have ever experienced til this day... you get a smoothness like no other Blanco... you can taste the Rain water that Felipe utilizes with a 50% mix with well water this is like Pasote with no pepper or heat. this is the most true expression of a Blanco and great for beginners due to the smooth sweet taste of Agave!!

Complicated but satisfying. Aroma full of brick oven and cooked agave mixed with rain water and minerals, rice, green mango and sage. Citrus, fruits, cloves and floral cent aggregated. Palate is agave forward, marzipan, lime, cloves, white pepper, basil and dill weed. Finish is medium spicy with cooked agave mix with sweetness like nutmeg and custard.

Excellent and expressive blanco from Felipe Camarena. Subtle citrus & floral notes on the nose and taste with a underlying honey and vanilla , along side string agave and rounds out nicely w/ slight black pepper and earth finish. Definitely something to have on the the shelf and share with friends.

This is another great blanco from master distiller Felipe Camarena. This review is based not off of pedigree alone - we all know G4, Pasote, Terralta and Volans are amazing. With taking that out of the equation, this blanco packs a punch. It is very agave forward with floral, citrus and vegetal notes on the nose, indicative of a highlands tequila. The flavor is strong of steamed agave, black pepper, asparagus, sweet potato, spice, green apple and pear. It is really a very bold juice from 1579, and well done.

It’s a softer version of G4, but not a better version. Not quite as much character and it’s priced a little higher. I’d certainly drink it again and recommend it if asked, but not over G4.
