Butterscotch cookies all day, this is entirely delicious and makes you wanna drink it by the gallon. Not a ton of roasted agave left in there but it’s a successful marriage of a great Blanco and a ton of barrel manipulation.

Cost is the only thing that drags this beautiful XA tequila's rating down.

Great stuff with strong agave flavor alongside caramel, chocolate, herbs, pepper, grassy, pineapple, a little smoke, freshwater, mint, citrus.

Aroma: peppery, vegetal with a slight sweet melon smell as well. taste: Bite up front from the peppery heat then the cooked agave comes through with light butterscotch and vanilla followed by some oak bitterness and a woody taste. finish: the oaky woody bitterness lingers and then gently fades away. overall it's a great Xtra Anejo. I could enjoy this with a good cigar.

this is definately an extra anejo from start to finish. agave flavor gets lost but still smooth flavor, nice nose, bold finish

Aromas of peach, oak and agave. When left to air notes of ripe melon as well. Initial taste is agave, oak, melon and hints of caramel. Finishes with notes of agave, butterscotch and custard. So so good. Very smooth and Complex. Had to put the bottle away so I wouldn't drink it all

Drink: Siembra Azul Suro Extra Añejo

He will, however, make an exception - ¡con gusto! - for the extraordinary extra añejos his distillery just issued, the five-year-old "Suro" aged in spicy American oak from the Ozarks, and the seven-year-old "Piñera" aged in French wood.
