I’ve tried about 50 different tequilas in the past 7 or 8 years since I’ve gotten interested. Class Azul is head and shoulders above any other so far. It’s sweet, gentle, and full-flavored - complex without the overpowering flavor of oak that I get from most Anejos. I wouldn’t hesitate to serve this to a connoisseur or a novice.

Saccharine sweet. It definitely does not taste like tequila. Not my cup of tea.

my favorite Reposado. the spice taste is prevalent, getting better with every sip. I prefer this to their Añejo, which seemed bland. the bottle is everyone's favorite. have purchased this many times. great for gifting as well.

Strong caramel and vanilla aroma; flavor is smooth from start to finish; price in bars somewhat high

The sweet aroma would make you think it’s going to be a sweet tequila. But it’s quite the opposite, and that’s why it’s so perfect. I can’t even find the words to describe the taste. Smooth? Silky? Refreshing? Whatever, just buy it and thank me later.

NOM 1595 - Very unique and out of the ordinary tequila. Strong aromas of caramel, vanilla, cream soda. Flavors abound on the sweet side with vanilla and caramel bring heavy hitters. Finish is sweet with a hint of pepper leaving long silky legs behind. Price is steep perhaps because of the artesanal bottle included in the purchase. .

Nose: vanilla, caramel, some floral and agave. Tongue: a strong sweet vanilla and caramel, with faint agave; and a soft sweet buttery cream soda pepper finish, which comes with a slight residue and aftertaste on the dorsal surface of the tongue. Additives, sweeteners, and/or use of diffuser, I suppose, without knowing for sure. Not for me, too sweet and syrupy, but it has its place and will make someone happy. A beautiful hand painted bottle to be sure, with a steep price tag.

Clase Azul Reposado is the tequila to hand someone who does not like tequila. I call it the conversion tequila. It's incredibly smooth and easy to drink, but also very very sweet and expensive. I was impressed the first time I tried this, but drinking it now as I've been focusing on mostly additive-free traditionally made varieties it comes off as cloying, artificial and missing all the peppery and wild flavors of agave. If you love Clase Azul Reposado than try Casamigos Añejo.

Still one of my top 5 tequilas.. sweet and smooth. An excellent tequila to give a new prospect to keep them interested in trying other tequilas.

Great nose, sweet, with a touch of sourness. Taste is soft agave, cinnamon bun, and vanilla birthday cake with caramel pastry frosting. A little sweet. A bit of a bitter bite on the finish. Tasty, but not really for me.
