Well I won this tequila in a new years raffle and I was excited to try it so here it is. In the Smell I get wood, agave and alcohol. the taste is sweet and pleasant with no burn a little woody there. Finish goes down without a burn and leaves you with a nice taste. Overall what keeps this tequila at a low point average is the price, you can get better quality and many more with $600.

Not as sweet as 1942 but is pretty smooth

Tasted like a mid shelf repo… nothing special. Terrible finish that is chemical and bitter. Way overpriced. The Ultima Ripoff.

Oakey and woody on the nose, Orange peel, minerals, cloves, wood with light butterscotch finish Clean finish, medium mouthfeel, not very stringent for the amount of wood aging

I feel as though this is the only true agave forward tequilas they make, the taste isn’t lost to what they barreled it into which is a relief. The cost is ridiculous but im thankful to have found one at cost. Would never purchase this tequila again, it’s more of a show off bottle

Oak and vanilla heavy on the aroma. Cooked agave, oak, vanilla, spice and butterscotch flavors come through for me on the palette. A little sweet but it’s masked some by the heavy oak notes from 3+ years in the barrel. Drinks like a whiskey. Expensive but premium bottle and packaging with delicious liquid makes for a nice addition to any collection. New and hard to find I guess since this is the first rating.

I could not get a single hint of Agave. All I could smell was Vanilla & some pepper and Oak. The taste was overly sweet, with absolutely no Agave. The finish & aftertaste was chemically in nature. I may not have let it open up enough, but there was nothing pleasant about this juice. May revisit later, but most likely not.
