Sorry, this, although it's a repo/anejo/XA blend, it comes through like an over oaked repo with more bourbon notes than agave. Overpriced at 180+. Hard pass from a mediocre brand. I do enjoy their limited run Blanco Smoke though. Not smokey at all, but agave forward.

Tacolicious SF, CA Class cup, not champagne Half full bottle $15 glass Light color, nice oily legs Aroma- cherry, new barrel, citrus, cooked agave, light pepper. Beauty balanced nose Taste - Oak, white pepper, very light licorice Medium finish on full body tequila. Excuse the cliffs notes review. I was also manhandling 2 boys.

Distillery tasting. Amazing looking bottle! I pick up funky fruit, oak and sweetness with a slight bitter finish. Have to knock some points for price on this one.

I liked this blend alot, although the price is high. There maybe was something missing in here for me though. Without a doubt though...It's a solid sipper and additive free

Fancy bottle and all. A tri-blend of 3 expressions is still considered a Reposado. Slight heat, light Carmel and spice. Price point brings the score down, at $200 a bottle.

Notes of tropical dry fruit, soft vanilla, a touch of cinnamon with a velvety mouthfeel that carries through with the fruit (cherry, peach), toasted nuts, bitter chocolate and. light baking spices in the mouth. The short finish leaves you wanting another sip. Naturally semi sweet with a dry finish. Unusual for a luxury segment tequila in its complexity and natural sweetness. Very enjoyable.

There’s some vanilla in the aroma, but not over-the-top. I also get some fruit (dried cherry), orange peel and toasted oak. It smells just like a barrel room. Flavor: Raisin, vanilla, dried fruit, butter. Mouthfeel is full and oily. Finish is pleasant and clean. This is a solid additive-free tequila in a fancy tall bottle… imagine that!

I let it breathe for 20 min. before teying. Prominent oak flavor on the initial sip. Not very sweet and agave forward. The finish is a bit bitter/woody. Given that it's a Extra Anejo, it seems immature. could've been a blanco if I didn't know any better. Grossly, Grossly overpriced at about $182 (Total Wine, Dallas).

Very light color, amazing aroma, that actually improves over time in the glass, 15, 30minutes. Chocolate and cooked agave is there, very smooth but not that sweet. no additives wow. Not oily, smooth. It is unique

Very light color for an añejo, but still has the full bodied flavors.

Lote: L054I220292, bottled on 25-11-2022, tasted on 10-12-23. Color: light yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, light acidity, light vanilla notes and a touch of wood note emerges after 15 minutes in the glass, a touch of black pepper and light herbaceousness. After 30 minutes in the glass the agave notes become slightly sweet. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, alcohol sensation is medium to medium high initially but balances out, it ends with a touch of bitterness. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave with vanilla and a fragrant wood note persists.

Very good nose to it and a good sweet flavor without over powering the agave. This is the first time opening, so I know it will get better from here.

Good XA, but overall I thought it was too hot for a 40 ABV tequila and bring an XA. Need a second evaluation to truly get a good judgement

Aromas of sweet caramel, oak, cooked agave, plum, and lite Vanilla. Enjoyable sipper that ebbs and flows between a Reposado and an Anejo with caramel, cooked agave, and a little spice that fades quickly with a natural sweet finish. Although this bottle looks like it was designed for a night club, especially with the built-in battery operated light that emulates a volcano (nice touch), it’s additive-free! $149.99

It's an easy 90, but keeping it honest with the price, 88... But the bottle?? 89. And that's a fair rating.

the nose is warm and inviting like cookies out of the oven welcoming you to that big comfy chair. notes of vanilla are natural and not overbearing as is expected in an additive free tequila. dried nuts and chocolate are interwoven into a delicate tapestry across the tongue. the finish us elegant and very well rounded. delightful to see what can be produced at this price point naturally.

The color in my glencairn is likened to the hue of straw. The nose has a sweet sensation, couple with a slight burn from the alcohol. I get agave, vanilla, a touch of oak from the smell. Dare I say a smell a pear? The taste. It’s wild. I get anise on the tail end and sweet vanilla up front. There is the slightest of burn (any tequila without some burn is a waste of money). I will have to taste again, when I haven’t had ghost pepper spiced pasta.

Best expression in there line-up! Too bad it's only sold to restaurants/bars to my knowledge in the US per the rep at LA Tequila Festival '22.
