Overlooked this one while on a high proof kick but wow, what a masterpiece. Strong cooked agave, sweeness, and mineral spiciness on the nose. Flavor is bursting with agave, black pepper, green peppers, and some citrus in the background. It's a real nice blanco.

Cooked agave and natural sweetness. Herbal (penca) , mineral and agave notes. Easy sipping tequila that would pair well with a white fish or a manchego cheese.

Terralta Blanco 40 abv Lot 1 Lote: 0001B40 (Nov 30, 2016) Tasting Date: June 17, 2022 Nose: Agave, pepper, mint, citrus, fruit, some minerality and stone comes thru Taste: cooked agave pepper vanilla citrus. I'm not getting all the flavor notes I'm seeing others got, such as the earthiness minerality and vegetal flavors. But this is an old bottle I'm tasting and it is the last 1/4 of the bottle. Even so, there is complexity and it is very well balanced. I remembered this was delicious and it did not disappoint! Finish: sweet agave and a hint of pepper that lingers Other: It has what I call the traditional "bubblegum" flavor (in a good way) of a Felipe Camarena tequila. Great legs, nice viscosity- not too thick, not watery, just right. Let this sit. It gets better. Smell the glass when it's done. So good!

Earthy, mineral, peppery, agave goodness! Best value out of Nom 1579.

Just realized while reviewing Don Vicente that I had not reviewed this one. What can I say, one of my favorites from El Pandillo. This is one I have given to multiple friends and family and everyone loves, some (like me) prefer it to G4. I tend to drink more the reposado or 110 XA but this is also very good.

Very nice blonco Smell of loads of agave, minerals, earthiness(light dirt), root vegetable The taste is similar with agave and minerals up front. Not as much mineral taste like the 110 loads of pepper. A slight vanilla Ed’s in the middle. Very good

Aroma Notes: earth/wet soil & very mineral. Vegetal and spicy herbs (jalapeño/bell pepper/black pepper) Light notes of citrus and tropical fruits Flavors: Cooked agave, mineral/light metallic entrance, then the wow factor comes in….. ready? Great balance of peppery notes, fruits (pineapple/green apple/pear), spices (anise/spearmint) & tamarind.

Cooked agave, herbal, mineral, crush stone, earthy, spring water, rain water, egg plant. Palate: zesty citrus, sweet cooked agave, lime balm, melon, mineral, brine salt. Finish is long with lots of agave.

The use of deep well water definitely gives this an earthy flavor. Definitely recommend trying it as it's a very unique tequila. After coming back to this, I like it more

Tons of cooked agave, sweetness and minerality. Really fresh and bright. Brings just enough heat and has a really nice, long finish. Really enjoyed this as a sipper.

Really unbelievably true to the spirit, clean yet the right amount of heat and spice. Nice citrus notes. An awesome sipper. Really like this one from the best NOM on the planet.

Similar to Pasote, in that it tastes like you're drinking refreshing water from a spring. It's so full of sweetness from the agave, earthy anise, buttery, that it's unbelievable.

Aroma : Cooked agave, earth and minerals predominate. I also get notes of pickle and vanilla. Taste : Cooked agave, earth and minerals. Vanilla and olives. There is some sweetness here but it isn't overpowering in any way. Finish : Long and prolongs the same flavor notes, with a little more emphasis on the earth and minerals. This has lots of great flavors, and the light sweetness works with the earth and minerals to give a nice profile. This is probably my favorite Blanco of the big 3 NOM 1579 brands.

Is there such a thing as too much agave or something being too good?!? This tequila is phenomenal on every level, I have absolutely no critique to write about. Get a case and squirrel this away for anytime you need to smile......it’s that good!!

The mineraliry comes from the rainwater that El Pandillo collects, not only for the juice, but the cleaning of the operation of this eco-friendly distillery. Felipe does it again with this brand and expression. Raw and cooked agave with green beans, olives, pepper and asparagus on the nose and palate. Another home run.

11/30/16 1 T 0001B40 Cooked agave balanced with pepper are most prevalent on the nose with a sharp minerality following along. Seems to be legit legs swirled in the glass. Heat is still carrying through on the tongue but not overly burning.

In my regular rotation for years now. Crisp notes of rich baked agave, pine needles, citrus and dill. Softer notes of vanilla on the nose. Minerals and a faint lactic note. A floral component. The flavors pop! Licorice, vanilla, olives, cinnamon and sweet agave are just a few of the highlights. A nice mineralality as well. A stand out tequila.

The "green" profile carried through to the finish. Reminds me of Corrido blanco. Soft yet lasting finish. Edited: Raw agave and some alcohol on the nose with a little bell pepper. A little marshmallow, maybe a little ripe mango on the body and then the spice kicks in. Finish lingers mostly on the side of the tongue.

This tequila just blew my mind. Aroma is all about earth, minerals, and mushrooms. Once it enters your mouth it feels fantastic, has a little bit of sweetness, but the minerality is there to keep it real. The finish is a crowd pleaser. My first impression - I need to hurry up and buy several cases of this so I never run out of it.

Earthy, mineral nose- almost mushroomy- and very soft, slightly sweet flavor. Goes down easy with unusual aroma/taste profile. A nice addition to the market.

Comparable to G4 with little differences like water source and fermentation I think this one is slightly nicer than G4 I wish it easier to find lol. Usually you can’t go wrong with stuff from 1579
