notes are from a tasting I did in 2016 this is good but expensive so the value brought my rating down a few points

An outstanding Anejo, incredibly made, outrageous bottle and packaging from Patron. Very pricey, needs to be enjoyed slowly and with friend who will appreciate its value

This is from Old Town Tequila. “Gran Patrón Burdeos is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave, is distilled and then aged in American and French oak barrels at Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. It’s then distilled again and racked in vintage Bordeaux barrels.” On the nose I smell cooked agave, oak, and wine. I also get some slight caramel. It’s pleasant. On the first taste I get a lot of smooth oak and agave. On the second sip I get sweet agave and wine barrel. The finish is short and sweet. Overall this is a great sipper but the price hurts the rating. It’s priced anywhere between $449 and $349. If you have the money and love tequila you won’t be disappointed but at that price you can purchase a lot of other tequilas. ¡Salud! AustinTequilaConnoisseurs

Entirely lovely, not many agave forward añejos on the market so add this to your collection. A little bitter on the finish to be “elite” but it’s really phenomenal.

Lovely copper color. Nose: Rich, full aroma. Deep, dark ripe fruit overtones, vanilla, orange peel, dried apricot, walnuts, peach, cedar shavings, and an earthy slightly acidic note. Flavor: Creamy vanilla, almond, round baking spices, bourbon oak, and warming pepper. Some herbal notes: maybe a hint of dill weed, anise and artichoke. Finishes with some caramel. Balanced medium long finish, a first class tequila. $$$$$

Wonderfully aged with unique smooth complex flavours... Just to damn pricey and this reduces its score..

Wooden notes with a subtle warmth. Velvety feel a characteristic of aging in French oak barrels. Almost wine like.

Savored a shot of this at a celebrity chef’s restaurant in Las Vegas. Worth the tasting experience. Not usually one to be enamored by pretty bottles, the heft and intricate feel of the design of this bottle stopper is truly a thing of beauty.

I tried this tequila while celebrating my son’s graduation from the university. It’s an amazing tequila, very pricey but worth the celebration. I absolutely love its copper color I think it’s rather unique. On the nose I get cooked agave, minerals, oak and dried smokey fruits with very similar taste. Finish was rather short but sweet (caramel) very minimal bite.

I’m a Blanco guy so this is out of my comfort zone. Still learning to appreciate a good anejo.Had the privilege of tasting this @ a nieces birthday .Lots of oak. Very sweet. Caramel. Very little agave.Super smooth with no burn what so ever. Hard pressed to believe this is even tequila though. High price tag slightly downgrades the rating .
