This is a tricky one. I guess I admire them trying to distill something four times to see what would happen. the result. Is it taste mostly like water. Water with a little bit of mint in it. And also a little bit of medicine. Not a bad tequila necessarily it’s just not really a tequila at all.
Not as good as the Patron Smoky. Kind of a mezcal-light that lacks depth and complexity. Cascahuin Aniversario and Siembre Ancestral are the benchmarks for this style. This Patron (although at a lower price point - $70) misses the mark set by these standouts. Bacardi influence? Not sure, but I'd take an Islay scotch instead
Decent spirit. Would of loved for the aromas and smokiness to last longer. Hard to top other smoky expressions from well known distilleries
