This needs to sit awhile and open up. Nose: sharp with some cooked agave, floral, and sweet anise Flavor: earthy, black pepper, hint of tropical fruit and natural sweetness Finish: medium finish that is peppery, but has a burnt rubber taste in the background
Medicinal nose and swirling coats the glass which turns over several minutes into slow tears. I suspect glycerin added to this from the viscosity. Otherwise flavor is not exceptional with some agave sweetness, oak spice and a medium finish that clings to the tongue. Not any real bitterness here as in some reposado, but also nothing distinctive in the overall flavor and presentation except the matte black bottle and that glycerin.
Sharp, pungent and spicy roast agave, peppercorn, and alcohol and finishes with some natural sweetness.
Nada.. no agave detected… Need to revisit another bottle, seemed like it was agave water. (Poor storage)
