Not much going on but slightly better than the Blanco
Tasted at Distillery. It is additive free, massed produced and misses the mark on the flavors of a good tequila
Slightly better than the blanco, but not much going on here.
I like that they are additive free but just another mass produced distillery looking to pump out tequila.
Tasted at Distillery, Additive Free week
Distillery tour tasting. Nice cocktail choice for a quality mixto that doesn’t seem over manipulated like others. Like the Blanco but with some sweet vanilla notes on this one.
Distillery tasting. Pleasantly surprised by this mixto. Some fresh scent soap, agave notes, slight sour fruit finish. I don’t drink a lot of mixto, but this tasted fairly clean and seems like a step up in quality from bigger brands you’d know. I’d use this in a cocktail.
Mexican 35% abv. version, lote: LOT1-RTZ35, bottled on 05-09-2022, tasted on 12-29-23. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: sweet ripe calabaza squash, wood note with light mint aroma, light spiciness from wood, menthol, cedar wood, light vanilla but I don’t smell agave… Palate: confirms aromas perceived, feels thin & light. I smell a hint of cooked agave through my retronasal. Finish is short, sweet ripe calabaza squash, wood note with mint and light vanilla notes persist but quite short.
