The aroma reveals a refreshing minerality intertwined with herbal notes, vibrant citrus, subtle almond, and a gentle touch of alcohol. On the palate, potent minerality takes the lead, brightened by layers of citrus and a peppery kick. Grapefruit mingles with hints of celery, while miniscule sarsaparilla, anise, and spearmint lend complexity, balanced by a touch of honey and earthy tea undertones. The finish trails with grassy, vegetal notes and a distinct touch of pencil shavings, grounding the experience in a final wave of mineral essence.
Wow, this nose is full of agave and the palate is fantastic. Sad I waited so long to try this
Typical Felipe masterpiece. Nice barrel influence while not overpowering the agave. A nice sipper.
This is an all around excellent tequila. Every category it rated that for me. The nose is sweet with cooked agave and notes of citrus and tropical fruits. I get bananas and pineapple. It also has and earthy note to it with a bit of minerality. On the tongue, just as good as the nose. Sweet sweet agave, I get my fruits along with butter and a bit of black pepper. I bit of brine and anise. Minty finish with a touch of alcohol. Medium viscosity Great bargain blanco that should appeal to a wide audience.
Nose: earth/ mineral/ alcohol/ cinnamon/ slightly fruity/ citrus/ grapefruit/ lime/ orange peel/ bell pepper Taste: sweet agave cooked and raw / vanilla/ cinnamon/ peppermint/banana / pear / green apple / Orange / anise / tea / nutmeg/ clove / hint of cream soda Finish: light viscosity mouthfeel/ lingering sweet agave, cinnamon, anise, and citrus flavors are delicate and delicious / not overwhelming but the alcohol from the higher abv is persistent This high proof blanco has a lot of delicate flavors which is unusual for a 110 proof tequila. They are good and enjoyable but not ad bold as you’d expect. The main sweet notes are in decent balance with the cinnamon spiciness which carries through the entire taste experience. This is a very enjoyable high proof, despite the detectable presence of alcohol in the sips.
