Some slight bitterness initially that I attribute to the use of a stainless steel pot still with no copper elements. Some minerality from the deep well water comes out on subsequent sips. After sitting for 8-10 minutes this has opened up with a nice fragrance of agave and some caramelized notes. The SS pot still drags this down and keeps the score below the 90 point threshold. I like it but don’t love it Thanks Tequila.diva

Nose: earth / agave cooked / citrus / pear / cherry / bell pepper / salt Taste: sweet agave cooked / earth / BIG cinnamon / vanilla/ minerals / pear and apple / citrus / orange peel / lime / anise / peppermint / tea / clove / hint of cream soda Finish: cool water effect over an incredibly tiny touch of sticky viscosity that’s enjoyable the way that it helps maintain the sweet agave and cinnamon flavors for a long time / even after 45 seconds I still have the vey slightly sticky viscosity on my tongue and palate. This high proof blanco offers so much flavor especially sweet and vanilla, and the higher abv seems to help elevate all the flavors. The finish is unique and enjoyable. This is a very enjoyable high proof.

Tasted blind for Fuerte Friday. Notes: Good legs. A little light on the nose but what I do smell is wonderful. I am picking up agave with fruit flowers. Very little pepper for a high proof so if you aren’t a pepper fan this may be a good option for you I am also picking up some mint. The taste is of sweet agave, floral notes, cinnamon and dried fruits. The ABV is present on the tongue and finish. I would highly recommend this tequila.

Simple earthy flavor profile, but not a bad sipper for the high proof.

Strong agave a citrus aroma. Smooth for an ovenproof. Agave and spice in the long finish. Just a hint of smoke.

Hits the mouth with vigor at first but is light in the finish for an overproof. Very pleasant clean finish with minimal burn. This is the most floral tequila I’ve ever tasted.

Each time I have this one I like it more. Great Cooked agave taste with a little of a mash taste (like moonshine ) I have that mash in the aroma as well. Great finish long and a spicy!

This one was good! Packed with intensity, the extra proof delivers bold cooked agave flavor with a peppery kick and minerality. Hints of vanilla and citrus.

Lote: BCOCORHP010223HV, tasted on 2-2-24. Aroma: raw agave, agave fibers, hay, light green vegetal note, after 20 minutes in the glass the agave note becomes slightly sweet, fiber and hay aroma is more intense, hint of earthiness, minerality. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, there is a soapy aroma on my retronasal. Slightly acidic. Finish is medium to long, raw agave, hint of soapy aroma, hay and fibers with an acidic note persists.

Pretty elegant for a still strength. Nice silky sweet agave with notes of flowers, butter, and watermelon.
