Nose: At first I am getting a lot of very sweet vanilla and oak. Very sweet. Then a strong punch of ethanol kicks into gear. Undertones of rubber, chlorine, and plastic are present. Palate: Weak mouth feel. Sweet alcohol from the start. Almost tastes like vodka with several sweetener packets and some vanilla extract. Very simple and sweet with a powerful alcohol presence for something so low proof. There are better options available

Light nose easy going. Has additives so know what you’re drinking.

Although I wasn’t expecting a stellar tequila, I was expecting tequila. Tastes overwhelmingly artificial.

Aroma of raw agave and oak. Flavor of agave. Mild, short finish. Nothing special.

Somehow barrelling average tequila can make it worse, who knew?!?

Antiseptic aroma, front of mouth burn that lingers. I think this is going to make me feel like vinazas tomorrow.

I think the wood notes on this one are fake, taste a lot like the reposo but not on a natural side. A los of chemicals and astringency.

Mild acetone and alcohol aroma. Slight pepper burn. Boring.

It’s certainly sweeter and oaky, but I kinda like it for an everyday cheap sipping tequila on ice. It is aged longer than most cheap repos, but wonder if they are using additives to impact sweetness, colour and overall flavour. I’ll keep stocking it as I think most uneducated tequila drinkers would probably like this repo compared to a lot of blancos or other repos in this price range.

Aroma is very agave. Flavor is sweet almost like syrup. I would not drink this again as I feel it is not genuine. I would recommend to a person getting i to tequila as it exaggerates tequila taste.
