Too much cinnamon and clove for my taste. This has a WA State manual input code over the barcode so pre 2012.
38% abv. versión, no lot codes, acquired recently, tasted on 7-26-24. Aroma: cooked agave, green pickles, sweet earth, light dirt, the aroma & characteristics are quite similar to cenizo & salmiana agaves, maybe hybridization occurred? Hint of smoke & sweet ash, wet cement. As time goes by it becomes sweeter. Hint of citrus. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, light fruitiness through my retronasal and ends with a subtle but prolonged sweetness. However, after 30 minutes in the glass the earthy and light dust sensation becomes more dominant. Feels slightly watered down. Finish is medium to long, light sweet cooked agave, light green pickles, hint of earth, hint of dust, wet earth, light fruitiness with a smoky sensation persists.
Aroma: slight alcohol, with cooked sweet agave. Muted agave. Taste: sweet with a slight bitterness, creamy. Finish: long finish with a slight heat
Hazelnut Tangerine
Tastes like additives though not as overwhelming as the Añejo. Former home to Calle 23.
