A blend of different Cascahuin techniques, it’s the most underground pit cooking that pokes through the most on this one—definitely carries a touch of smoke through. Sweet, earthy, mineral, and smoky.
This is a treat of a XA. Great barrel influence on the nose and palate from this one. Nose: cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, oak, black pepper, butterscotch, cinnamon, dried fruit, and butter. Palate: the nose carries over to the palate. Great creamy finish with those barrel notes just lingering.
