Not a big nose to me, though pleasing. Some applesauce notes. A little cinnamon and sawdust. Flavor was a little more vibrant as it opened up. Some spices, subtle agave and oak. Big whisky flavors, which really aren’t my thing. Balanced finish with sufficient pepper heat and caramel. Kind of grew on me as it sat awhile.
Baked agave and oak dominate the aroma and flavor profile, with hints of caramel and baked apple. Nice oily mouth feel that leads to a lingering and pleasant finish
