Caramel and vanilla on the nose. Sweet profile, similar to the aromas with caramel, dark cherries, and oak. There’s a spiciness that helps to balance the initial sweetness making this an easy to drink XA without much complexity.
A little lactic funk, black pepper and lite agave on the nose. On the palate it’s a little hot initially (let it open up). Sweeter than I prefer for a blanco, and a short finish.
Nose: Fresh ripe fruit and various dried fruit. A hint of nuttiness and a dusty mineral presence. Flavors: Spicy entrance. A hint of bitters. Intensely sweet with tongue clinging viscosity. The finish brings new emphasis to the French oak nuances. Medium finish. Pretty straightforward sipper.
Easy to drink blanco that can be sipped neat, or used in cocktails.
