For a blue Weber agave and espadín mix I expected more complexity. It was ok, but not great.

It doesn’t quite have the depth of mezcal or the prominent blue agave notes of a tequila. It’s very approachable and a unique concept. More vegetal flavor profile.

While the idea of tequila and mezcal blended did not sound good and I had low expectations of this spirit I have to say I was surprised that it didn’t Suck as much as Guy Fieri. Drinkable. Aroma is ok taste is not bad and finish is ok. Not much mezcal going on. It’s a moderately good Blanco tequila. A little sweet. Interestingly there is no NOM listed on the bottle. Hmmm.

So, this might come across as a more niche product but it sounded like an interesting combination and different take on Mezcal. It is. Mezcal being it's own entity, this blurs the lines and could certainly be welcome by someone not fully understanding of Mezcal, it's smoke, and what it is. Very drinkable with a respectable, non cheap smoky aroma and agave scent. The smoke does overwhelm the agave flavor and it's obvious that it just wasn't intended to use a higher end TQ. Not sure what to ever mix it with but sipping is fine for me. Great balance and flavor and doesn't taste bottom shelfy at all. Will always keep in stock in my cabinet.
