very good for $10! super value. I doubt it's free of additives, but it makes a great Paloma and probably a great margarita
This is not Fortaleza or Don Fulano 1st Class, but neither is the air fare. In L.A. it can be found in supermarkets for a Basic Economy fare of $10-$13 (same as Cuervo or Sauza, but tastier). Perfect for party margaritas.
Notes of figs and black licorice
Nose has some strong non agave notes.
1 liter round bottle, black plastic twist cap, LOTE 5AR083H22, bottled on 31.08.22, tasted on 2-15-25. Color: yellow to light yellow. Aroma: hint of cooked agave, light caramel, hint of earthiness, hint of vanilla, light acidity, hint of sourness, hint of wood note. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, toasted caramel, light maple sweetness, light aromatic toasted wood note. Hint of toffee through my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, light toasted caramel, hint of vanilla, hint of maple syrup with a hint of cooked agave note persists. Agave note is barely noticeable.
