Nose: Cinnamon, brown sugary agave notes, mint, a hint of barnyard and a mineral sharpness. Flavor: Warming pepper with spicy cloves and cinnamon. Honey like taste and feel to the palate. A whisper of vanilla and almonds. Finish has a slight bitterness and is medium short in duration. The cinnamon, cloves and some licorice notes do linger a bit though... A decent bargain tequila if you can find it. Added points on price point.
Opens up really nice.
Nose: The same cinnamon and brown sugar aroma that I found in the blanco. Additionally, there is lots of punchy minerals, orange peel and citrus notes, and undercurrents of caramel, vanilla and nutmeg. Flavor: Round cinnamon and vanilla laced agave, with white pepper pulling up the rear. A touch of barrel tannins add a little depth to the profile. Finish: Almond and vanilla creaminess with lingering pepper. Pretty big aroma, flavor and mouth feel for a bargain 38% ABV tequila. Note: Points added for value....
