NOM #1079 Hard to read lote info. Perhaps 2008? Aromas: Lots of fruit. Some citrus. Spicy barrel notes. Greenish oak notes. A slightly dusty aroma and light vanilla. Flavor: Pepper and baking spices. Appealing oiliness. The pepper has creeping heat… Agave is still prominent and in abundance. I suspect that the 15 years spent in the bottle has diminished some of the clarity and focus of the original profile. The pepper heat takes on a bitter edge on the finish.
Older wax top, Lot 127 from 2003.
Old school profile goodness Kiwi, green fruits, tropical fruits, melon, agave, light and crisp profile. NOM 1079. This is absolutely delicious, if you find a bottle please buy it. Reminds me a lot of Don Alejo Blanco/Oro Azul.
