Nice amber color, the nose is straight up whiskey barrel notes of caramel and vanilla with some ethanol. Nice entry with caramel and agave on the palate and a nice natural sweetness which carries into the finish.

Great smell of wood, sweet tobacco, agave. Really long tears, but not oily tasting. Some cooked agave, vanilla, slight minerality.

Strong cooked agave and earthiness in the aroma. Black pepper dominates a smooth flavor a little oak as well. Finish has some heat yet it's really smooth... no after taste.

The French Oak Barrels really bring out the sweeter notes of what’s typically a more mineral forward valley floor agave.

Lot code & bottling date got erased but it should be the first or second release of this expression, tasted on 6-29-24. Color: dark yellow to light brown. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light anise, hint of vanilla, hint of earthiness, light aromatic green vegetal notes, light acidity, light wood note that gets more intense as time goes by, which ends up masking some aromas. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, hint of caramel, light herbal notes through my retronasal, wet cement, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave, light vanilla and cinnamon, hint of earthiness, light aromatic green vegetal notes, hint of fruity notes with slightly dominating wood notes persist, ends a tad astringent.

The color on this Reposado is incredible! When I pour it for my friends they assume it’s an Anejo.
