Gorgeous nose. Cooked agave, nice barrel notes of cinnamon, oak, vanilla. Cooked agave, vanilla caramel, light oak influence. Fruity, stone fruit, a touch of anise on the finish along with cinnamon. Great mouthfeel. Great finish.

Blind tasted: Wow! Notes: Cooked agave (caramelized), barrel spice, fruity and floral, sweet and bitter citrus, some red fruits, sweet spices, really harmonious profile, medium-high complexity, feels like an Añejo and really enjoyed the finish

This 50/50 mix of Siembra Azul and Viva Mexico reposados is a tasty blend. I’m picking up agave, flowers, grapefruit, pepper, and caramel. Long legs that coat well. Really nice sipper. One of my favorite reposados.

A true Reposado in contrast to the10th and 12th Anniversary releases which were XA and Añejo blends. Part lote 08 Siembra Azul Reposado and part lote 10 Viva Mexico Reposado, this is all 1414 Sergio Cruz goodness blended and bottled with the new descriptive hand drawn labels.

Aroma, floral, wood, agave, brown sugar. Flavors of agave up front morphing into botanical and light spice then wood. The wood takes a perfect background and is well balanced and nuanced. Some sweetness but again, a perfect balance to compliment the light finish. A treat for sure.

I feel bad rating this like this but it’s getting hit because, maybe i’d drink it again and no i’m not gonna recommend it. and it’s not really something I’m going to pay the price for. that said maybe I have a bad batch. I know the brand is reputable and I’ve loved their other expressions. The aroma is nice, light, sweet, caramel, cantaloupe, faint cherry. it tanks on the pallete, it’s so thin and like water. I get so little, no viscosity, no finish. hints of toasted coconut but that’s the lingering presence. dried fruit, I hardly want to finish this tbh.

Complex toasted agave on the nose and the palate with a grapefruit and even a juicy fruit gum note on the finish. So happy to have the opportunity to taste this one.

As we had previously reviewed, this Reposado is a delicious collaboration between Siembra and the Vivanco family. Rich in dried fruit notes, spices, citrus, maple with hints of bourbon flavors, this limited edition is both unique and well recommended.

finally cracked this one open and wow! Surprisingly not a lot on the nose at first but I started to pick up a little salty briny scent. Then it’s just bursting with flavors, sweet, spicy, peppery some oak but very finely balanced. This one is very pleasant to sip as it gives you a little bit of everything throughout.
