Bought this to complete my Roca collection. I hear this will be released again by Patron and I hope so. Not that it was a a tequila I would drink on a regular basis as there is still much better. But this is good and with the Patron name if it is released again it will end up in many restaurants and bars. This one has a nice nose of cooked agave, vanilla, oak and caramel. It’s buttery and has a touch of honey. Similar to the repo only sweeter. On the palate this is also tasty. I get agave and barrel spices. The whiskey is more pronounced on this one.

I tried this many years ago (2015/2016). I liked it ok back then, but it's overpriced in my opinion so took points off for that. i would like to revisit to see how I feel about it now.

Decent nose but not too complex on the palate. Agave, minerals, citrus, cinnamon... overall decent, but better stuff out there for the same price point.

Story: Tahona crushed and higher proofed añejo expression from Patron Patron. Aroma: The sweet agave from the reposado is still there, but the honey is much more pronounced. A good bit more vanilla, and overall just softer. Palate: Again, cooked and melon strongly on the palate, very little heat, definitely can taste a floral sweetness that isn’t quite honey, but reminiscent. A bit of oak, though not too pronounced, and definitely some barrel spice. Verdict: Damn fine tequila in my opinion. I’ll be searching out a full sized version of this, it really suits my palate. Worth at least a taste at your local tequila bar, or a half size if one is available. Miles beyond standard Patron.

Fair to midland. I little too sharp for my palate. Typical Patron nose and pricing.

Well aged. Warm finish without an overpowering oak finish. Well done Patron, now can we come down a bit in price?

This thing is a beast!! Lots of agave and a hot powerful finish that makes me crave more. I love the concept of an unapologetic tequila, this is how the master distiller thinks Añejo should taste and fuck off if you don’t like it.

The more I drink this, the more I like it. This is a super solid añejo that is a pleasure to drink.

Aroma is initially heavy on alcohol but settles after sitting awhile and the floral notes are again present. Some fruit and oak also come through in the aroma. The flavor is strong cinnamon tempered by sweet fruit. The higher proof is somewhat noticeable in the añejo where it was missing in the blanco and repo. The finish is short to medium and just sort of fades away without anything lasting.

Initial flavor is very good. Goes easily over the tongue. Definitely has a black pepper finish. I do feel it is over priced. However I would drink a lot more if someone else was buying.

Really nice easy sipping tequila, absolutely amazing flavour and finish like so many other tequilas the second time you drink it, it’s ten times better. Love it, if only it was more affordable

Bottle: L21076PA700 14:15, Lote AR 0420 Appearance: Light honey Nose: Cooked agave, oak, butter, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, molasses, raisin, banana, whiskey, smoke, alcohol, clove, honey, white pepper, citrus, orange, hazelnut, leather, flowers, cedar, and baking spice…the agave is upfront, but is quickly overtaken Palate: Cooked agave, oak, butter, alcohol, raisin, molasses, banana, nutmeg, tobacco, cinnamon, barrel spice, charcoal, minerality, butter, cedar, sage, coffee, and flowers…good, but less depth than the nose Finish: Butter, oak, raisin, alcohol, and light cooked agave…thin to medium mouthfeel and short to medium finish Overall: The nose was enticing, but, despite the higher proof, the palate was far less exciting. The finish felt like a prudent, solid recap, yet still restrained. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed the pour and it’s nice to enjoy something less complicated every now and then. The entire tasting experience was good, though a bit bland given the production process and the price.

Good, but I could do without the heavy whiskey notes and taste. I prefer their Tahona reposado offering more
