NOM 1502 | Pleasing nose, vanilla, nutty, the mouth feel is nice, tropical fruit, barrel notes, light finish

NOM 1502 | From the moment the cork is popped, subsists a harmonious blend of aromas that introduce firstly; honey and oak, intertwined with almond and delicious pears. Caramel mingled alongside bourbon becomes enticing and gourmand. Cooked agave, chocolate, nuttiness, anise, and light vanilla add to the allure. The palate is coated with oak, maple, nuttiness, molasses, brandy, fruitiness, chocolate, and cooked brown sugar. A touch of minty freshness and orange zest adds vibrancy, with light salinity and pepperiness providing heated depth without overpowering the senses. On the finish, there is salinity and cooked agave with faint grassiness while being earthy. A deliciously great Reposado with a lasting impression.

The aroma blends more pronounced wood notes with an oaky sweetness, coupled with agave and baking spices. A burst of sweetness on the flavor, apple pie with oak and agave, similar to the aroma. Ends on a finish of light caramel, spice, black pepper, and some agave notes.

04/2024- tasting this at Teos in san jose del cabo because partida was the best brand they had here. nose has a lot of alcohol and otherwise a little bland. easy to sip with a short finish.

NOM 1502 | Aroma: cooked agave, orange, leather, whiskey, and hints of vanilla. Flavor: leather, dry soil, oak, cinnamon, and clove. Finish: dry oaky finish that lingers for a while. Very easy to drink, slight burn in the chest. For $55, this is a very solid Reposado

Reasonably priced reposado, light barrel notes. Earthy with a nice finish.

NOM 1454 White letter label. Tried side by side with WB 2020 this has many of the aged qualities of the Fortaleza. Unique to the Fortaleza are the sour cider/beer tail end and some creaminess in the mouth but everything else is very close, aroma, barrel spice, color from aging which in both is a pale straw. The suggestion for comparison came from Khrys Maxwell and was spot on.

NOM 1502 | Nose: Muted raw oak note with barrel spice: cinnamon and mace. Light colored fruit, trace jackfruit and some caramel. Flavor: Almonds, vanilla and caramel - and some salinity. I am finding the same acrid pepper note and bitterness that was evident in the blanco. A bit watery.

NOM 1454 | Somewhat overpowering alcohol on the nose. Once it opened up, agave and minerals came through. On the palate is pine sap, lime zest, soap and a metallic/solvent flavor. Spearmint finish.

Vanilla and cinnamon, kiss of oak. Sweet with some tingle.

Faint aromas of vanilla and agave. Viscous but leaves a little burn on the finish. Not very complex.

Some smoke on this one, but still smooth.

NOM 1454 | For all of these reviews, I taste each tequila blind, so needless to say, I was bummed when I found out that it was Partida. This sample came from a 50ml bottle that I got on a BevMo sale and is Lot PA73. So hope it was a bad lot, bad cork, etc. Sorry guys. My complaints are that there was a lot of harsh "chemically" notes on the nose and a lot of bitterness in the taste. I would lean more to this coming from NOM 1502, the new distillery that is making their tequila, rather than the original distillery 1454.

NOM 1502 | Aroma: Agave & Citrus notes and get little bit of the barrel on the nose, caramel vanilla. Flavor: way different get more agave and caramel chocolate notes with pepper. Lighter on the citrus and something fruity on the backend. Nice long finish on this one.

Agave Pepper Touch of vanilla Good finish with cooked agave Alcohol

NOM 1502 | On the nose I get some really nice sweet agave, honey, and a little citrus with a touch of oak and vanilla and caramel. The palate isn’t as sweet as the nose, but I still get a hit of sweet agave, followed by some black pepper, orange zest, oak, and caramel and mint with some salinity.

NOM 1502 | It takes a few sips to get the real beauty of this Repo. It has a wonderful lead of Cooked agave followed by pepper with a hint of vanilla. As it rolls down the throat there is a strong alcohol burn- with an oaky overtone. The price seems a bit high. It makes a nice Repo Mule. The pepperiness sets off the ginger beer.

Cooked agave, caramel, vanilla, pepper with a bit of earthy aroma. Tastes include cooked agave, earthy, pepper, metallic, alcohol, oak, grass. Has a finish I don't care for - sort of like varnish or acetone.

These guys had a booth at the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival, where they were giving free sample portions. I kept going back for more because they were the only tequila at the show. The taste was on par with a lot of Añejos I have tried. The main thing I noticed was the agave oil finish. It kept you wanting another sip… I was a bit disappointed by the sales pitch of the representative at the booth. He didn’t get into how they make it, what makes it special, or what makes it worth $50 per bottle. In my opinion, that’s a bit much for this tequila. He also didn’t know much about the NOM where it is produced, claiming they only make Partida. Yea, I would drink it again and I would buy it if I could find it on sale.

I enjoy the forward nature of the Agave, followed by the barrel notes. Slight caramel, vanilla, pepper. Finish lingers and makes you want another sip. Makes a delicious Old Fashioned martini.The bottle is a beautifully smooth oval shape that I first thought may be holding a soon to be highly commercialized libation.I was very pleased once the cork was popped. I will buy again. It is also on the additive-free list.

low burn, smells better than it tastes. sting hangs in there

NOM 1502 | Oaky for a repo and sweet. Still decent. Clean notes and light texture. Has some agave but Definitely vanilla but not overdone. It’s nice but too sweet for me
