NOM 1460 | NOM 1460, Mexican 35% abv. versión, lote: LTMR16201, bottled on 28-12-2016, tasted on 8-2-24. Color: yellow. Aroma: light raw agave, slightly herbaceous, hint of vanilla, light to medium ethanol aroma, hint of a metallic aroma that dissipates, hint of orange, after 20 minutes in the glass the agave note becomes slightly sweet, light cooked agave. Hint of citrus, hint of earthiness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, light orange note through my retronasal, good sweet sour and citrus balance but ends a tad dry. Finish is medium, hint of cooked & raw agave, hint of orange with light ethanol aroma persists but not too long.

NOM 1460 | The scent and taste is very reminiscent to Sauza blanco. The taste is extremely sweet. The finish is smooth. The value is there since this is among the best priced tequilas. They have a Blanco, Joven and Añejo. Great value for the price. Great alone or for cocktail mixing. No hang-over. Fair to say it’s better than José Cuervo Tradicional or any of the Jimador presentations.

Similar profile to the blanco, however the quality of this repo surpasses the blanco by a lot. Flavor & value compared to silver is much better. This tastes more like tequila than the blanco, but light on the oak. Also sweet.

NOM 1460 | First tried this on a trip toTexas. Was not a tequila I could find in Virginia. Excellent value. Nice mouth feel, full, sweet, fresh agave notes, buttery on plate, smooth, long finish. A real find!!
