Nose: vanilla/ caramel/ sweet agave cooked / butter / banana / hint of citrus / lime / spearmint/ tea / orange blossom/ nutmeg/ chocolate/ Taste: sweet agave cooked / vanilla/ caramel/ pepper / banana/ lime / orange peel / spearmint/ bell pepper/ nutmeg/ jalapeno/ chocolate / molasses Finish: very low viscosity mouthfeel/ lingering pepper notes prevail after a rapid dissipation of sweet agave / vanilla/ and peppermint. Spicy till the last swallow. This anejo has many of the signature azul highland pepper notes. The sweetness is quite enjoyable but it steps aside quickly in the light of the predominant pepper notes. There is a touch of mintiness, but the heavy spice notes are in charge here until the last swallow.
Agave and oak presence up front … slight straw aroma … black pepper on the mouth and a taste of a pitted fruit….. complex and balanced
Very nice easy sipper Oak, agave, loads of pitted fruit, black peper. Short to medium finish. Very nice easy sipper. Nice on the pallet …. Caramel is a nice touch when opens up.
Oh yeah this is nice. Agave retained on the nose along with barrel notes. Pallet is oak with slight pepper on the finish. Super easy to drink and delicious. This is pretty dang good
Aroma : Bourbon-like caramel, vanilla, and oak aromas. Light orange note. Taste : Mellow cooked agave sweetness pairs with vanilla, cinnamon, and oak. Finish : Cinnamon spice wraps up the sweetness of the initial impression nicely.
great aroma with earthy, oak, cinnamon, leather. flavor isn't as agave forward as I'd like but it keeps developing on the finish. anise, cinnamon, wood, leather, earth, sage. great price point.
Smells/tastes like good Blanco with baking spice & Mexican vanilla infused!! Great use of oak, this is a winner with any crowd.
Vanilla stands out to me in the aroma. Flavor has hints of vanilla, wood, and earth notes.
Aromas of whisky, leather and cooked agave with a vanilla , cinnamon flavor that has a pleasant spicy finish. Really nice anejo!
Aroma: oak and agave, with the oak barely edging out the agave. Also vanilla, cinnamon, and baking spices Taste: very similar to aroma, strong barrel influence but you can still taste agave Finish: on the shorter side, but it’s peppery, along with cinnamon Overall: very tasty and enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Oak, caramel

Oaky Smokey musty flavour
Batch 7 Appearance is unique straw/apple juice Nose: Agave, oak and earthy minerals Flavor: Very unique profile. Sweet floral and herbaceous, earthy, agave and oak are subdued. Finish is more of the same..pretty long. Overall very unique and delicious. Id have a hard time leaving this on the shelf if I saw it again. This is the winner of the aged Siembra products.

Oak and smoke, warm mouth feel with a spicy finish Honey and oak are the primary tasting notes I pick up Long smooth finish for alcoholy forward tequila Light aromatics
Nice anejo with bourbon hints and nuances of spice and fig.
Lots of vanilla and caramel on the nose, heaps of oak but still agave present. Very bourbon like.

I typically love Siembra Azul. This one is good but not up to par with many of the others I have had from this brand Nose does have cooked agave along with oak and vanilla. The whiskey influence from the barrel is there along with caramel and cinnamon. I also get a hint of chocolate. On the palate, the initial note is nice and sweet. I get more oak than on the nose and vanilla I get whiskey and barrel spices. This one doesn’t finish well to me. I get a lot of alcohol for a 40 proof. Fortunately, it stays dormant until you have swallowed. I tasted some really good Anejos today and thought this might match them. Yes, I’d drink it again but I won’t pick it over several others in this category
