Tasted at Distillery. It is additive free, massed produced and misses the mark on the flavors of a good tequila

I like that they are additive free but just another mass produced distillery looking to pump out tequila.

Distillery tasting. Pleasantly surprised by this mixto. Some fresh scent soap, agave notes, slight sour fruit finish. I don’t drink a lot of mixto, but this tasted fairly clean and seems like a step up in quality from bigger brands you’d know. I’d use this in a cocktail.

Mexican 35% abv. versión, lote: LOT 22J25A, bottled on 27-10-2022, tasted on 10-20-23. Aroma: sweet cooked agave! Small white jasmine flowers! Light acidity, fresh & crisp, light bitterness, a touch of black pepper spiciness, quite aromatic! Palate: confirms aromas perceived, but in the mouth it feels watered down. Finish is medium very light sweet cooked agave with a hint of eight star anise that I had not noticed and a light bitter note persists.

Not much agave but just enough for me to know this is a tequila and not a vodka or a super basic rum. Compared to other diffuser mixtos this is probably the best of them and I can see where additives can make a product more palatable. But that being said, being told what this is going to compete against and an estimate off premise shelf price is going to be, I can definitely see this as a better well tequila for businesses where having tequila is not the priority in terms of their beverage program.
