This nose has some classic notes of French oak spice. That FO sweetness punches through as well. There’s some buttery cooked agave that sits behind that spice. That grape note from the blanco is still present along with some floral alcohol vapors. It’s a really pleasant FO Repo nose. - The spice hits first with a FO backbone. The spice is nice and warm and the FO provides that unique sweetness. The cooked agave creates the creamy mid palate and the FO spice accompanies some pepper to create the lingering finish. The alcohol provides some palate numbness which allows for easier subsequent sips. - 2017 Release from NOM1466, Estate grown Amatitán agave, Horno cooked, Roller milled, SS Fermentation w/o fibers, Proprietary yeast, Deep well water, SS Still, 40% ABV - French White Oak aged - AUSTIN TEXAS OWNED
