Batch 3 This nose is fragrant with an abundance of agave and minerals. The agave is buttery and dense. There’s some excellent zest that’s on the lemon and lime end of the citrus spectrum. There’s an earthy aroma of wet clay and hints of fleeting floral vapors. This nose is very aromatic and it’s hitting my personal preferences. The high proof is delivering some excellent aromas. All the notes from the aromas are present on the palate. The agave and minerals hit first with some pleasant intensity. The agave is vegetal and spicy. There’s a balance of spice; white and black peppery with some fresh jalapeño. The minerals are pronounced but they are accompanied by the lemon lime citrus zest that carriers some ever so slight bitterness. The pepper picks back up right before the finish. There’s some agave sweetness that kicks in but the spice and minerals linger. Overall I personally really enjoyed this still strength blanco. It has great agave, minerality, citrus and pepper. It’s all well balanced and very flavorful. I’ll be looking to add a few of these to the rotation.

Horno 2022-01 PMS 5/01/22 25/11/22 Warming nasal impact. (Had to double check that I didn't pour the std Blanco). Aromas of limestone, brine, lemon zest, cinnamon, chalk dust from an elementary school eraser, cooked agave, cut grass. Lots going on here. Buttery mouthfeel with sufficient alcohol and drying on the first sip. Still no indication this is 55% ABV. The limestone carries through on the flavor, with lemon zest and grapefruit pith, olive brine, butter, cooked agave, anise and pepper - but not in your face heat (remember this is 55%). A vegetal finish with light ember heat on a long finish. I keep taking another sip before the finish actually ends. At approximately $75 it's not an everyday sipper, but definitely one to experience. Very well done blanco. Keeps the palate interested on every sip

700 ml bottle lote 02 Nose: Clean, crisp first impression. Lemon and lime oils. Limestone. Subtle cinnamon and vanilla teases. Freshly cut lawn clippings. Chunky agave aromas. No overbearing ethanol assault. Flavor: Pepper, salinity, silky agave- all in a pleasing proportional harmony. Light tropical notes. Alcohol heat is present, but it invites you back sip after sip. Finish evolves slowly, offering up undercurrents of anise, nutmeg and allspice.

Clear silver color … aroma of cooked agave overripe fruit and citrus. Tastes of anise, minerality, some tart citrus and black pepper. Earthy warming finish. Well made

Batch 2 | Gorgeous nose, subtle but beautiful agave. Palate is nice cooked agave. Easy and a treat to drink. Gorgeous tears coat the glass. Medium heat on the finish but Yum. Makes me come back for more. This is real nice. Fantastic job creating a beautiful product.

As expensive as the Cerro de Luz it is still a treat to taste this and the 40% side X side. This wins everytime. If you can only choose one, choose this one.

Aroma, mint, menthol, agave, herbs, brine, light floral, wow I could smell this just as long as I could sip it. Flavor is a treat of an agave burst with spices and earthy minerals. Lives up 100% to all the hype.

Need to add a bottle of this to my bar. Had it at Anvil in Houston and really loved it by itself and on a custom cocktail they made on the spot. Didn’t take notes, but I do remember I really liked it and been looking for it after it. Need to revisit for further notes

Agave, tart fruit, minerals, earth, mint, and cinnamon with a long finish! The high proof explodes with flavor but doesn’t overwhelm with alcohol. Simply excellent. Love that this has TONS of details on the label—amen!

Very nice still stregnth 110 proof that doesn’t drink like 110 proof. Love that they put all the specs on the bottle. Nice sweet agave upfront, with some vegetal/earthiness, little fruit like green melon and pepper.

Tastes a lot better than it smells. Nose is soft with vanilla, honey, cement. Tastes mainly like sweet agave with some minerality and has a very oily mouthfeel. Sits on the cheeks with a medium finish. | LOT 3 - freshly opened, need to reevaluate once opens up

Batch 3. Wasn’t a fan when I first opened the bottle. But a week later it opened up and was more flavorful. Definitely a still strength worth trying!

Lot: PM55/01/22, bottles on 25/11/22, tasted on 2-23-24. Aroma: raw agave, herbaceous, briny, green olives, slight acidity. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, much more expressive on the palate, soapy aroma through my retronasal, raw agave note is bright & crisp, but ends briny which I feel covers up aromas. Finish is medium to long, raw agave, herbaceous, soapy aroma, hint of earthiness and light astringency persists.

Was excited to try this, but it disappointed. It had a good agave taste but the crispness and fruitiness was not there. There are better high proofs in the market. This had a very grassy taste, but was left wanting more depth.

Nose: The Nose on SS PM Spirits Blanco is nice. It’s very light yet distinct. The SS proof comes through as expected and really shines in terms of delicate fruit. I get notes of pineapple, melon, light honey, vanilla, agave, green apple, avacado, and mineral. Taste: The taste is interesting… it hits the pallet in a vastly different way that the aromas the nose presents. As SS Pm Spirits Blanco hits the tongue, there is some dry spice such as cinnamon, nutmeg, or even all spice. It doesn’t over power anything like those spices can, it simply presents itself and slowly moves to carmelapple and dark chocolate. I get hints of wet grass, a light honey, followed by a bold mineral earthiness. Finish: As this Blanco finishes, it carries a long musky pepper finish accompanied by mint, citrus crisp heat (abv). The Verdict: As I’ve mentioned in previous reviews, I tend to gravitate toward the drinkability of 80 proof tequilas. That said, there is a reason people love SS/Barrel proof/Cask Strength alcohol… they simply present deeper, bolder, and more rich flavor profiles. PM Spirts is no different. At $80 there are bottles I would choose over this one, however I certainly wouldn’t discourage anyone from picking up a bottle. It’s a very unique experience that I would go to as a weekend type pour. I also give the labeling/branding a big thumbs up as it’s one of the best labels I’ve seen on the market!!

Very pretty and aromatic. Sweet agave, herbal bordering on tropical. Almost agricole-esque in it's sweetness and attack. Candied lime, cinnamon, jicama, hints of anise and mint. Incredibly balanced and delicate. Very good!
