The new brand from NOM 1443 and family owned tequila that has the vision to represent the hard working people from Los Altos and passion to create a new product that can be enjoyed with family. Please see below our tasting review: Aroma: A sweet fruity entrance that is covered with contrasting layers between citrus notes and dried red fruits. It does possess small nuances of cooked agave and a floral bouquet that invites you to sip in. Sweet citrus (tangerine) and baking spices (clove) nuances also say hello towards the end. Both layers work on a balanced way and provide an austere and simple profile. Notes: cooked agave, tangerine, lemon, licorice, orange blossom, dried cherries, apple, flowers, white pepper & baking spices. Flavors: As you dive in, the aromas perceived before are exemplified once you taste it. The cooked agave sweetness remains, but gets accompanied by some grass/fruity notes that are short and followed by a citric layer of grilled pineapple and orange peel. Its profile is very enjoyable and easy to sip during a night among family and friends. It has a long finish does leave a slight sweet mint and white pepper presence along with a metallic end. Leave your drinking vessel overnight covered with a coaster, the next morning you will be able to perceive its cooked agave aromas as if you were at the distillery. Believe it smells good! Notes: cooked agave, caramelized fruit, pineapple, citrus, mint, white pepper, metallic taste NOM 1443 Category: 100% Agave Region: Los Altos, Jalisco Cooking: Autoclave (high pressure) Extraction: Roller Mill Fermentation: Open-air in stainless steel tanks Distillation: 2x ABV: 40%

I think it is a powerful tequila with citrus notes and spices like black pepper and prunes, it is light, sweet and with character.
