I smell sweet cooked buttery agave up front. I then detect some faint lime. It’s a clean nose with some muted alcohol vapors. I taste sweet highlands agave that’s quickly met with distinct but not overpowering pepper. The finish has a slight jalapeño and vegetal taste with a pleasant alcohol tingle.

This may be the gateway tequila you have been looking for so as to introduce your friends to something you enjoy. It has the funny name which is a conversation starter. It has has a mild agave aroma with a whiff of sweetness. The mouthfeel is watery and carries the agave forward but the sweetness becomes more vanilla. Not overwhelming on the vanilla. This finishes quickly with the addition of some pepper. I’m happily surprised. The price is fair also. A very easy tequila.

This has a sweet and fruity flavor profile, lots of roasted agave, agave nectar, with a little minerality and char.

The tequila is extremely smooth, no bite. I taste subtle vanilla and a little pepper.

This is from the first real production run and I really enjoy it. Nose is somewhere between green and baked agave with some earthiness in there. Flavor brings much of the same with the nice spicy/pepper notes from the agave. Finish is warm and fuzzy lasting a while. It is a good sipper and should hold up in a cocktail as well. Low $40 range make this one a keeper.

Aroma is a bit sulfuric- but it’s not dominating- and earthy and some minerals are present- the agave is raw - and I definitely find the finish better than their reposado- I picked this up on a package sale- so in the $42 range - it’s a decent blanco sipper - again- the name is what made be buy it- love it- and it’s accurate- good tequila does manage my anger!
