A well priced Blanco, great for mixing, but could easily sip. Slightly bitter, earthy notes. Shows some nice cooked agave.
Wow, I actually really like this. Very nice agave on the nose with a bit of alcohol. The palate is soft and mild but agave rich with a slight bitter but easy going finish. This really tastes well made. Got it on clearance for $15 but I’d buy it at full price. Update: As others have said, this one is not complex but man it sips easy.
Tasted at LA Tequila Fest
Really nice nose with more mint than usual + a little lemon rind. Taste is a bit alcohol forward, but has a nice black pepper kick with sweet agave. Finish is a tad hot and short. Mouthfeel is pretty luscious. Oxygenation and moves to increase “smoothness” are apparent here, and not altogether unsuccessful. A solid option for folks trading up from Patron, Casamigos, and similar, at a very fair price.
I'm raising my rating on this, since my video review. This Blanco really delivers, and for 32.99... this is one slammin' deal
A pretty straightforward blanco, not super complex but easy to drink. Aroma has some wet earth, floral and vegetal notes. Flavor has cooked agave and a hint of cinnamon. Finish is short which will be a plus for some people.
Wet earth snd herbal aromas with a hint of snickerdoodle. Medium mouthfeel with mint in the finish. Slightly bitter but a decent blanco.
Aroma a lot of agave with citrus, pepper and a hint of mint every now and then Mouth feel is nice Flavor is agave pepper and a little mint Finish is long with a mild burn Found this on sale for $23. Will pick up more.
Excellent Blanco at an incredible price. Very affordable for the quality of juice. Cooked agave, white pepper and citrus on the palate. Cooked agave, wet earth, and alcohol on the nose. Short and hot finish.
Nose unveils floral and vegetal notes. Palate includes sweet agave nectar and orange peel. Finish reveals pepper. Great value. 9.3/10
Absolutely nothing special, at a price where you could’ve had something special! Not bad at all, but to cost the same amount that Total Wine charges for El Tesoro and Tequila Ocho, it’s not worth the cost! Definitely would drink again. But never buy it at full price.
It reminds me of a less rich copy of most tequila ocho blanco estates. The agave is a bit muted and while it is very easy to drink, it also has moments where it seems kind of dull. For the price point, you really don't get too much of a better value than this. This could be a sipper but I think it will end up getting utilized more for me personally as a mixer
Smooth, agave rich with splash of lemon. Mix of sweet and earthy, hint of pepper, easy on the tongue. Ends warm but quick.
Had this at Rockin taco in AZ. Fresh
One of my favorite blancos at this value. Crisp. Clean. Cheap price
Just tried it at a tasting event it’s absolutely the best product out there for such a steal
Smooth crisp additive free it’s absolutely amazing
My favorite drink. So Smooth, It’s Criminal.
Had at the taco and tequila fest in Phoenix
Nose: pineapple, green pears, cherries, and fresh lemon and lime. Sparkling minerals. A spicy orange, ginger, and turmeric scent. A faint mint scent. Smoky anise that is sweet and musty. Cinnamon, spice, vanilla, anise, velvety leather, and saltiness are some of the flavors. Incredibly rich agave with flavors of both caramelized and green. The taste is exquisite like melted butter. On the palate's rear, there is the slightest hint of grapefruit pith flavor. Result and first impressions: a smooth transition between each taste and smell component.
Bought the blanco for $38. For the taste and finish, I’d value the blanco at around $60. Nose: brown sugar, citrus, agave Flavor: vanilla, cinnamon, clove, little earthiness Very delicious. Complex yet subtle.
Nose, agave, pepper, citrus, alcohol Taste is pretty one dimensional, a bit of heat Finish is short, not bad, still a bit of heat Not a bad tequila, just a little boring
Tried this again. Bumped it up a notch. Solid blanco.
Solid. Nothing that stands out though.
