Tried neat at Ixtete in Tequila. Rated as 37% ABV (this batch), but has aromas that seem like the content is higher; the palate is pleasant, as well. This is a very tame version of the blanco.

Nutty aroma, roasted agave is very forward and I can tell upon first skiff this is going to be winner. Gentle at first sip, big alcohol build kid palette and then it breaks away for a long, sweet finish. This has something for everyone, very enjoyable.

BA01/23, Mexican 37% abv. I was told this is the first lot after resuming production of this expression which had been discontinued during several years. Tasted on 12-9-23. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, sweet light lactic note, light aromatic green vegetal note, herbal. Palate: confirmas aromas perceived, a hint of metallic/strong mineral note in the mouth. Finish is medium to medium long, herbaceous cooked agave with the hint of metallic/strong mineral note persists. Ends a tad bitter.
