The nose shows a lot of alcohol, some sweetness and vanilla creaminess, some citrus and earthiness, and just a touch of butter. The nose is better than the taste. On taste definite alcohol swirling around, vegetal, some sweetness and light citrus. This is not even worth $30, as there are so many better tequilas as you can buy in this price range. Very disappointed in the Rock's hype, and IMO, just more crap on the market.

Not particularly bad tasting as much as just doesn’t taste like much. Citrus and agave notes, $29 per liter it’s very on par with casamigos (2016) and Avion but at a lower price point

Clean and earthy was my initial take. The product has it's own NOM but is made at a distillery that has 4 other NOMs co located at the same physical location. I don't taste additives or any diffuser artifacts but cannot assume the brand will stay true to that. I've published some thoughts in Agave Collectors group on Facebook for which I am moderator and it would be redundant to repost here.

Nose of tangerine, rubber, and acetone. Flavors of vanilla, earth, spice, citrus, a coppery pepper. Smooth introduction and sharp alcohol after bite. This has to be one of the worst tequilas I have ever had. It doesn’t taste like tequila, but rather like an intriguing “something else.” The hangover is as bad as cheap vodka. You can tell a lot of love went into making this product, the copper aging and roasting of the agave is apparent. Then somewhere along the process the added flavors or mixtos or even production process destroys what could be an amazing tequila. It’s not unpleasant tasting, it’s just not tequila. Altos, Luna Azul, even Hornitos is better in this price range. It was pretty disappointing after all the hype.

I will say that I did like it but it didn't make me want to buy more. It's a decent mid-pack blanco with a good price point. Flavor was a little light and it wasn't harsh or offensive going down.

I have been drinking tequila since 1975. I doubt a day goes by without having tequila in one form or another, usually neat. I may not be an expert but I know a good tequila from a bad tequila. That said, last night at our local eatery (which has a very good selection of tequila) I noticed an unopened bottle of Teremana Blanco. I knew nothing about it and was excited to try a new tequila. I asked for a single ounce neat. The nose was nothing special. One sip was one too many. Honestly it is the worst Blanco tequila I have ever had the displeasure of drinking. I could not finish drinking it. Chilling with ice did not help. My wife had the same opinion. I asked two servers to try it and they both had the same opinion. It is abrasive up front with a strange chemical taste most comparable to Listerine or Lavoris mouthwash with a touch of brake cleaner added for flavor. It leaves an offensive metallic like aftertaste on the back of the pallet which unfortunately lasted for a long time. This must be an experiment from a chemist laboratory to approximate a Blanco tequila. I have no idea how anybody could give this a five out of five star review.

Interesting, lots of citrus, grapefruit on the nose but big alcohol on the taste. Definitely priced for mixing, burning after taste if sipped alone. At this price point for a tequila that’s made on a single distillery, certified gluten free and kosher, claiming to be small batch, cooked in hornos and distilled on copper stills, definitely a bargain.

Nice tequila. Nose is okay with a little sweetness. Taste is solid, lots of citrus and minerality with a hint of licorice. Brings a little kick. Finish is mild without much linger. Probably not a sipper for me but a mixer for sure. Look forward to trying the repo.

I like it. I heard it gets a knock, but it’s a good product

The Rock only gets an OK from me on his blanco. Not terrible and just shy of being great. Definitely do not get the citrus notes they are advertising. A very faint hint of wet dog upon entry that is so background that it's not a deal breaker for a bottle this cheap. Its OK enough that I will at least try the reposado.

Meh...harmless enough...reminds me of CasaAmigos...I think for the price Altos Olmeca still the best 20$ bottle of blanco you can buy in NJ....

Wanted to like this, after hearing mixed reviews, I have to say not a great first taste and the finish was disappointing. Wouldn’t be my first choice or even my 10th choice when ordering a blanco. Priced fairly.

Earthy tequila. Better nose than taste. Too much presence to be an effective mixer in my opinion but not a favorite as a sipper either. Satisfied with the price, but there are better blanco tequilas for the price. Green agave & pepper up front with small spice. Lingering on the hard pallet of the mouth but mostly alcohol after taste. I did enjoy this tequila in some ways. Worth a try, it may be something that you enjoy. 4/10 overall rating.
