Another of the Maji decorative series. Nose: Dominating oak aroma with a touch of fruitiness and vanilla. Latent barrel spices attempting to make an appearance. A subdued aroma profile. Flavors: Some acrid pepper. Overwhelming sweetness, that does not taste natural to me. An aspartame, or similar, aftertaste. Thin in the mouth. Some perky barrel spices and a fleeting butterscotch note. But the acrid taste and artificial sweetness disqualifies this to me. Not recommend.

My Añejo was beaded pkg. Pretty simple for an Añejo. Nice viscosity. A bit too sweet for this TequilaSnob.
