Initial aromas of lime and agave, very clean with a hint of sweetness. The taste consists of a very light citrus blended with agave, a touch of oak, and a pleasant consistency throughout. The finish is incredibly smooth blend of those same notes of agave and lime, with herbal notes of basil that linger on the palate. A true sipping blanco tequila that is among the best.

I will need to revisit this one. cooked agave on the nose and pallet along with pepper and little bit of heat. Tried it again and I can't get onboard with this one. It's an okay sipper but don't think it'll make regular rotation. Not a bad price around $40. Tried again and it’s not bad.

Feels good to be getting back to reviewing. I caught COVID and my palate and nose were gone, I didn’t get to enjoy a proper tequila in months, but I’m back now! Aroma: Soft agave, ethanol, citrus, baking spices and i think a hint of cinnamon. Palate: Sharp hit of agave, the bright citrus on the nose comes right through, not quite orange, not quite lime, but something in between. The ethanol is very mild. There’s a lingering spice note, if you made me call it, I’d say cinnamon but that’s almost not quite right, but close enough. Verdict: Buy it. I’ve had the mixto Tequileno Blanco, and this is clearly leagues beyond that. A highly competent sipping blanco, I personally would not put this in a cocktail. It’s a little pricy in the $50 range, I’d recommend the half size if possible. I picked up the 375ml blanco + repo combo at Total Wine and I believe Old Town has it as well, would definitely recommend that if you can.

Loads of agave, pepper and anise. With some citrus. Very good.

Herbal and slight vegetal on nose. Flavor of agave and soil followed by grassyness. Then, the burn hits and though doesn't burn the flavor away, after a few seconds a second wave of earthy, grassy balance. Flavor does improve after lett it open but burn is a bit much for my liking as others have mentioned. Faint coffee bean smell, stronger coffee bean flavor. Also picking up some coconut scent and flavor.

Mango and cinnamon. Cooked agave. Black pepper. Delicious and unique. Softly sweet but a broad range of flavors in this blanco.

Nose: You need to give this some breathing time to coax out the bouquet. Warm, round agave aromas. Bright spices and peppery earthiness. Both lemon and orange citrus notes. Maybe melon or mango. Subtle herbal scent of dill and thyme. Flavor: Medium viscosity with a sweet and punchy agave/pepper kick off. The spices and citrus follow the nose, with the addition of silky salted caramel and anise. The flavors are much more dynamic than the aromas.

Tequileno Blanco I smell clean agave and sweet minerals. I taste a punch of sweet agave and pepper. There is a nice medium finish. This review is too simple for such a tasty tequila! Go buy one and let me know what you think.

Spicy, herbal, and a little too hot for my personal preference when sipping neat. Give it a few minutes to breathe and the alcohol dissipates lending a more approachable softness. Underripe banana and citrus peel up front with a lasting sweetness on the finish.

Aroma: herbal, sweet cooked agave, melon, light smoky, oak, fruits, anise. Palate; sweet cooked agave, grass, citrus, anise, mint, oak, alcohol. Finish medium and alcohol at the end in upper palate and back of tongue.

LOT: PLX09-290911 04/12/18 Cooked agave, melon rind, cinnamon and citrus with a muted dill aroma on the nose. Some slight hint of vanilla is there as well from the 30 day rest in American oak. Nice oily mouth feel. Flavor is still cooked agave forward, giving it a natural (not overbearing) sweetness. Cinnamon, orange and anise hit next. A bit of minerality is there as well. The oak shows some ankle on the back end and lingers in a peppery short - medium finish. A solid blanco from El Tequileno, and not recognized enough as a stand out line. Buy it, drink it, repeat

Aromas start off with a little bit of alcohol, its grassy, herbal, nice sweet cooked agave, some fruit (melon), a hint of anise, some pepper, spice, light smoke, floral, and mint. I don't usually like blanco rested in wood, but this is an exception. The taste followed through, as it was smooth and soft, with anise, pepper, light fruit, citrus, cooked agave and minerals. There was a little bit of heat on the back end. A real solid blanco.

Really great off the nose and only gets better as it goes! Nothing but roasted agave and a little bubble gum on the ending, this might be a new house pour.

Cinnamon, floral, white pepper aromas. Natural sweetness and minerality with a short finish. Tasty, just wish it was more viscous.

Cinnamon, cooked agave, mineral and floral aromas. Tastes slightly sweet, a little bit vanilla from the month it spent resting in oak. Feels thick and oily in the mouth. Finish is super clean but doesn’t last very long. (I think that's actually a good thing for most people.) Overall a solid product.

Citrus on the nose with alcohol trailing behind. Light mouthfeel with a hint of agave, but the citrus really leads the show. Gentle bite that gives way to a semi-short finish. A little pepper in there too, which hangs a bit on the end. Not bad overall.
