Aromas of alcohol, light citrus and some agave sweetness. Somewhat neutral overall. Sweet across the palate, some lime citrus, muted at first but with a burst of sweetness at the end. Some alcohol notes and heat on the finish, as well as a lingering sweetness. Overall it was better than I expected. Perhaps not the best for sipping but would go perfectly well in a mixed drink. If there are any additives they are background elements, this still very much tastes like a blanco tequila.

On the nose I get agave, citrus and a little sweetness. On the palate it goes down smooth with a long finish. Mainly taste agave and some black pepper. If there are any additives it’s very light in the background as there is no oily mouthfeel which glycerin gives off, no oak excract/ caramel coloring in the blanco and there doesn’t seem to be anything overly sweet. Overall satisfied as a long time E-40 fan that grew up in southern Cali. To E. Cuarenta, Salud!

Aroma- alcohol, lime, agave, hi t of sweet, a light aroma Taste- very mild, almost muted flavors, agave and citrus peak through and then something else, maybe vanilla or agave sweetener Finish- alcohol, vanilla or agave sweetener Not amazing, but definitely drinkable or good for a skinny margarita.

Mild fruity/agave aroma but there is a bit of harsh alcohol comes in as well. The flavor is ok, but it’s kind of indistinguishable. A little early burn (explains the alcohol aroma) with a peppery heat that lingers. Not bad but also not one of my favorites.
