This tequila really blew me away, actually. I got sawdust and oak on the nose with a damp cellar and wet rocks. But the star of the show was the flavor profile. I got musty oak barrels with a pungent gorgonzola cheese rind. It was really unique. Apparently there only literally a handful (10) of these bottles left.

Great aroma with lots of butterscotch, some vanilla, and caramel. The flavor had cooked agave, caramel, oak, and spice. Finish was medium to long but I did have some taste of mold that might be from the barrel but it was still not enough to take away from the overall finish.

Old Colored Label Caballito Loving the nose! Ripe baked agave, pitted fruit and barrel spices marrying harmoniously. A complex and complete nose. Flavor: Bold fruit, vanilla, crazy barrel spices, and warming pepper. A very dynamic and vibrant palate. The over proof alcohol doesn’t overwhelm in any way, but adds to the experience.

Only available at one place in GDL MX this bottle helped fuel a ride from Atotonilco where we were visiting 7 Leguas to the town of Tequila. If you have to ask... Agave roasted and caramelized along with oak spice and some alcohol from the 53% ABV. This is the equal of any similar product in the market, Terralta 110, Gran Dovejo Single Barrel, Felipe Camarenas private bottlings at El Pandillo and others. copied from prior unofficial app entry 12/06/2018

Not as aromatic and complex as the 44% version, but clearly similar in profile. Still lots of cream soda and peach aromas. Agave, dried fruit in the flavor and finish.
