Agave on the nose but very floral. Definitely getting that green apple, it’s super clear. The floral note keeps popping out to me. Good agave on the palate, that floral note and some cocoa notes interestingly enough. Loses some points as I get a rubbery note that I’m not loving. Overall, solid stuff and hard to beat in that $35-45 range. Very different from anything else I’d drink in that platform. I May end up buying a full bottle of this.

NOM 1479 150121 L UPB140-19 Aroma opens with an earthiness, followed by cooked agave, cinnamon, pepper, dried flowers and chocolate. The chocolate becomes more identifiable as white chocolate on the flavor. Anise, pepper, cooked agave and cinnamon. More tropical fruit than citrus for me. The white chocolate dominates on the retro nasal and walnut develops on the back end. Buttery mouth feel. More complex than I expected. A very nice blanco for about $36

Wow this one is interesting. Taste of agave, smoke, and white pepper. Starts with a slight bitterness (grapefruit peel) then finishes with a slight metallic/earthiness. A different but nice blanco

Agave for days on the nose and pallet. Floral and agave on the nose. pallet is how agave should taste. Definitely recommend if you enjoy pure agave. Long finish

Lote 47 Nose: Light colored fruit, green apple, pineapple, citrus, a floral note - carnations? Green agave, and almost overly carmelized agave. Light spicing consisting of cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper. Flavors: Oily, spicy with rich natural tasting sweetness. A hint of graham cracker? Mildly aggressive poblano pepper heat. Anise and peach pit afterthoughts. Finishes with a lasting impression of creaminess, roundness, and warmth - punctuated with pepper and spice.

Soft and gentle from top to bottom, loads of agave present in all aspects. Extremely soft and minty aftertaste, very agreeable.

Very strong floral and agave aroma from this purported rustic blanco. The importer of this product, Tequila Specialist, has a whole line of agave product from Mezcal to Sotol to Bacanora to Raicilla all of which appear to include descriptive labels listing Town of Origin, Type of Agave and Master Distiller among other things. Carried by OldTown. In the mouth this has nice viscosity, a big punch of alcohol, and some funk from the copper distillation along with natural sweetness. This is 40% ABV but it tastes like more heads in the cut with some interesting agave spice and a punch and tongue buzz that tastes like 46% or more. Now I wonder what the Artesanal tequila aged and unaged products are like. Super long finish with a tiny hint of bitterness. Minutes long...really. This is a product and line that will be at NW Agave Fest. Should prove interesting to taste the products in the rest of the catalog.

Had distinct Smokey rubber note. Strangely after having the bottle for several weeks that note disappeared and it tasted better.

Smooth finish with no bite on tongue. Not very complex but it tastes good. $28/bottle at local grocery is a steal.

On the nose is lots of delicious cooked agave and green vegetables. The palate gives black pepper upfront followed by cooked agave that quickly disappears into a long minty finish with a hint of smoke. Very delicious sipper, especially for the price.

Starts bright & sparkly. Floral. Bit of citrus. Surprising in a good way. Continues and finishes like a well cooked dish. Peppered, spiced, and lightly buttered.

Puntagave Rustico Blanco, $45 USD @ Ferment and Still. A quality blanco that is affordable to sip all year around. This flys against the trend of high brix level blancos. Its creamy and magnificent. A must try. Nose: Predominated by an inviting floral nose and light agave. Hints of orange citrus and green apple with a nice earthiness. Traces of smoke, mint, white pepper, and vanilla. A subtle and enjoyable entry. Taste: Mild natural sweetness, light mouthfeel, and a creamy peppery spice that builds. A nice butteriness takes over bringing with it the floralness, mint, anise and chocolate. A savory blanco, certainly. Finish: Chocolate mint, floral notes with white pepper linger for a solid, respectable creamy finish.

Cooked agave & floral nose. Mostly pepper and agave on the palate with a slightly hot & bitter finish in the ‘way back’. Pleasant but not a favorite … just opened the bottle and may need some time? Revised my score upward after a few more tastings. This is a solid Blanco…

I like this one. The juice smells of rain water, sweet agave, black pepper with some chocolate. The flavor is similar to the smell, light at first. The back end is a nice sweet strong agave with a herbal yet chocolaty note. The finish is medium of a subtle black pepper. Fantastic blanco for a retail of $39.99.

This distillery produces 19 different tequilas. This blanco is very herbaceous in the aroma and taste. Lots of fresh agave, as well as smokiness and floral notes. It has a great lite, soft taste of grass, melon, mint and a slight bit of white pepper. It ends with a long oily finish with a buttery, citrus notes. This is best sipped neat. I would not use this in mixed beverages because it would wash away any of the tasty attributes.
