Triple distilled tequila has agave forward profile. Aroma; floral, citrus, anise, mint, nutmeg, peppery and spicy, earthy and mineral. Palate; vegetal, cinnamon, full of minerals and earth, floral and peppery. Finish medium to low, with a nice alcohol tingle, peppery, spice, cinnamon, sweet agave, and a bite.

A nice complicated nose with some soft floral, spice, pepper, earthy and mineral aromas with a touch of nutmeg, anise and cinnamon and a little bit of lemon/orange citrus. Taste is a cool mouthfeel, smooth but with a definite bite and some heat, mineral and earthy, light cinnamon, floral and peppery. Overall the juice and presentation at this price makes it a great deal.

Most of the common La Cofradia aroma and flavor elements are missing here making this unique enough as a product from NOM 1137 to try on that basis alone. Agave and alcohol on the nose. A medium mouth feel with muted elements that come alive on the back end as this is swallowed. Ends with some mid tongue alcohol presence that persists for several minutes. Flavor of roast caramelized agave that fades to a slight sweetness.

Pure burn, aroma has some nice carmel & smoke going on but as soon as you taste its just alcohol burn, like a cheap plastic bottle of vladimir, not sure if it was a bad batch but would not recommend at all

Like nothing I have had before. It is very good. Smooth. Fruity. Earthy and minerally. Almost hazelnut or almond flavour. Delicious. Long lasting finish. Very complex. Very expensive (small liquor store in Merritt, British Columbia) had it on for $116 CDN. Tough to get in Canada. Subtle butter and banana and cinnamon. Nutty. And fruity....... Update. June, 2021. Tough to rate this. Fantastically over priced. Beautiful bottle. Wonderful aroma. Complex flavour. Great oil finish. Long lasting but some alcohol burn. Hazelnuts..... Downgraded to an 87. So much good. But so pricey....

It's hard to not be swayed by the amazing, gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, phenomenal bottle...however the juice inside this true-to-life Blood Red heart-shaped bottle is splendid! Agave hits your nose immediately as any good Blanco should. there are also a bit of floral, Citrus and a peppery, spicy nose. Almost like anise, mint and Nutmeg!? ...Banana! That's the fruit I'm smelling...banana. The flavor profile follows along. With mint, floral and a good, strong, earthy, warm, warm finish. a stupendous showpiece and fantastic sip for the money!

Very disappointing, looking at the vitals of this tequila it would seem like a good fit for my profile. Not so! The nose was not the fresh cooked agave that I love, but a smell something akin to peat moss and hit me at once. This is the first highly rated tequila that I have had to mix with fresh agave nectar and lime juice just to drink. At $38, it is disappointing tequila, although the heart-shaped bottle is unique.
