For a blue Weber agave and espadín mix I expected more complexity. It was ok, but not great.

It doesn’t quite have the depth of mezcal or the prominent blue agave notes of a tequila. It’s very approachable and a unique concept. More vegetal flavor profile.

So, this might come across as a more niche product but it sounded like an interesting combination and different take on Mezcal. It is. Mezcal being it's own entity, this blurs the lines and could certainly be welcome by someone not fully understanding of Mezcal, it's smoke, and what it is. Very drinkable with a respectable, non cheap smoky aroma and agave scent. The smoke does overwhelm the agave flavor and it's obvious that it just wasn't intended to use a higher end TQ. Not sure what to ever mix it with but sipping is fine for me. Great balance and flavor and doesn't taste bottom shelfy at all. Will always keep in stock in my cabinet.

I'm not into mezcal at all (gasp! Say it ain't so!!) so I was expecting to really be turned off by this. Surprisingly I wasn't. The mezcal is definitely present in the nose, ever so slightly. Lots of agave, too. Flavor is sweet and smoky and has a mineral component to it. Perhaps a little too sweet for me, but just enough to make it a pleasant experience for people who like both tequila and mezcal. It will be interesting to watch what happens to this brand in the future.

Cooked agave and slightly smoky nose. Nice mouthfeel. As a tequila-mezcal mix it's interesting and pleasant. A bit sweet. As a tequila purist I'd rather drink a straight up tequila, though.

i know this is a mezcal blend but since it is part of the Santo Fino family i wanted to add it.... don't get pissed at me.

While the idea of tequila and mezcal blended did not sound good and I had low expectations of this spirit I have to say I was surprised that it didn’t Suck as much as Guy Fieri. Drinkable. Aroma is ok taste is not bad and finish is ok. Not much mezcal going on. It’s a moderately good Blanco tequila. A little sweet. Interestingly there is no NOM listed on the bottle. Hmmm.

Bring back the original Cabo Wabo and 1421 that’s how I got here in the first place.I guess we all grow up and. Our tastes buds Change to Fortaleza.

Annoying food guy and annoying music guy advertise a no-brainer. So no-brainer I think it might just be a regular concoction dumbed down in simple MEZCAL + TEQUILA = PROFIT buzzwords to properly convey to the masses its delicious notes of spiciness and agave earthiness. It is quite simply the best of both worlds. Not every bottle is perfect, but that just speaks to its surprising authenticity. This is my zen booze at full power. If you think you will like what it's pitching, you will have nothing better. Points docked only for having a few batches that aren't as well balanced (but are still quite great) and my saltiness at its unavailabilty in Pennsylvania.

Honestly, this tastes great and is an easy drink. Especially for those who really don’t like mezcal . It’s super quality from the original NOM who brought us the original Cabo Wabo tequila , when it was call Los Cinco Soles. Sadly, this will get poo pooed by all the so called tequila experts, who guaranteed would love it in a blind taste test. Truth !

Slightly smoky aroma and flavour. Otherwise it’s very much like a very-good blanco; lots of cooked agave and pepper, a little sweet, with no hint of barrel. Short but pleasant finish. Some are put off by the concept, especially purists from either camp, but I say, if it tastes good, drink it!

Well.... what can I say? I had pretty low expectations of this tequila/mezcal blend....and my expectations were spot on. I never understood the reasons behind this product, and expected it to be a largely celebrity driven publicity stunt... I even tasted this at Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas.... maybe hoping the iconic ambiance would help... nope. First off... the fact that they insist on serving this $10 USD one once shot CHILLED was the first red flag.... the fact that chilling it didn't do anything to improve the antiseptic bite of something between turpentine and floor cleaner wss the second big red flag......surprised it didn't come with a lime wedge and salt... but it probably should have come with a disclaimer! This is promoted as a blend between 100% agave premium tequila and a quality 100% Espadin mezcal.... unfortunately, I couldn't smell or taste either one.... There's no appreciable bitterness or smoke from the mezcal, and the tequila has "diffusor" written all over it....there's no depth here... I only finished the shot because I paid so much for it.... Not sure who this product is for, but it's definitely not for me. I will stick to drinking good tequila, and good mezcal, but NOT blended together....

Not a lot of smell to this mix of mezcal and tequila. no smokey overtones $50 little pricey but not over the top 40 to 45 would be better

Lightly Smokey flavor, but not overpowering. There’s some heat behind the flavor but short lived. Probably a good starter for someone new to mezcal to try.

Very nice , good agave flavor with a hint of the smokey mazcal , very smooth with a nice finish , I recommend trying this , something different .

I am not sure on this one. I have used it in margaritas I have been calling Santo-Rita’s and they are pretty damn good. I would probably buy it again for more Santo-Rita’s.

the mezcal is bigger on the nose than the palate. smoke and pepper along with obvious agave. there is a decent finish on this thanks to the mezcal. good sipper for under 50 bucks.
