On the nose strong alcohol with some cooked agave followed by citrus. On the pallet the citrus overpowers the agave followed by ethanol then a sweetenes that reminds me of sucralose sugar. Very artificial taste. I will not drink this again.

Mexican 40% abv. version, lote: 7CB020I22, bottled on 01-12-2022, tasted on 10-27-23. Aroma: light cooked agave with an intense sweetness that is not from agave, light black pepper, slightly metallic that gets covered up by the peculiar sweetness! Palate: confirms aromas perceived, the peculiar sweetness is at least twice as sweet on the palate as on the nose, literally slightly watered down cough syrup. Finish is very short, peculiar sweetness with a touch of mint with light bitterness persists for a short time.

Ethanol nose Sweet up front, but switches on a dime to a harsh alcohol flavor. There are some peppery/spicy undertones but covered up by the punch at the end.

Burnt agave with almost some chocolate notes on the nose. Very sweet on the palate, a nice zest with some pepper and chemical taste.
