NOM 1489- Horrible aroma with oak, vanilla, pine sol, which is noticeable most of the time in diffuser junk, mint. The taste is the same, it's thin, it's overly sweet, filled with sn artifical pine sol, mint, vanilla oak taste. Absolutely horrible... I would never recommend this in any way.

Although is aged in bourbon barrels the flavor was not there. NOM 1489, neat at Casa Tequila $14. Aroma is light in vanilla and spices. Palate is thin without agave or oak flavors. Great package but not much more going on.

Straight up smells like toothpaste, everything from there on in is agave. Nice and delicate on the tongue, it doesn’t have that fake chocolate flavour that you get with cristalinos. Medium, gentle finish, I expect I could have 6 of these before I knew I’d had one!!

Hussong Anjeo Summary: Prefer this over the reposado. A sweet nose with . cooked agave, vanilla, and oak. Some black pepper and cinnamon. Light palate some a touch of bitterness. Chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, cooked and black pepper. Not amazing, yet its an easy sipper. The sweetness and bitterness carries into the finish.

Mint and vanilla. Sweet vanilla overwhelms any other flavors. Thin. Recommend as a sub for Don Julio 70.

This is a great tasting tequila. Smooth finish and double distilled after aging to give it a silky smooth, clear appearance. The oak barrel gives it a familiar taste.

My taste buds and plate cannot Always pick up the subtle nuances of flavors within tequila, But if I'm sampling with friends are discussions can pick up on these subtle flavors. This is the first clear anejo I have had. it is one that does not have the barrel overtones that some have.
