Nothing out of the ordinary here in this Añejo from NOM 1438, except the fact that this distillery seldom goes beyond a Reposado in the over 100 brands produced here. Makes sense as you would have to have a HUGE storage facility for over 100 different Añejo and Extra Añejo brand barrels. Some agave and bourbon notes on the nose. Caramel and natural sweetness and a simple quick finish. Bottle dated 02/2015.

NOM 1438 | Has a sweet vanilla, caramel smell. Tastes like caramel, very nice. Smooth sweet finish.

NOM 1137 | It seems to have a strong alcohol hit on the nose, even though its lower abv than the repo. I get nice caramel and oak with a pleasing mouth numbing effect that lasts for a long while. I love their packaging, and the agave holds strong through the entire line.

NOM 1438 | This one is a little thin but produces some legs and tears. Nose is nice oak. Taste is a little pepper vanilla and oak. Finish is medium with a little tingle on the gums. Exceptional packaging for a decent anejo.

I like it better when it was Kah tequila. I had a few friends try each and Kah came out on top.

Oak, pepper, agave. A little bitter. Perhaps a little vanilla.

Nice dark color with very nice aroma. Picking up some sweet notes of vanilla, cherry with hint of oak. Med-Full body with a nice oily feel to it and it has a nice oaky peppery flavor. Really like the finish on this one. Love the price point paid $42.99
